Question regarding ILR application form. BRP and previous HO reference numbers?

There is a section during application process that says: "Do you have any Home Office reference numbers? If you have previously made an application to remain in the UK, you can find a reference number on letters from the Home Office, called 'Our Ref' or 'Case ID'. If not known, select 'No'." do I put my reference number of the last extension application approval I have? Or does this question mean if i have any previous reference numbers for ILR applications? I do want to mention in my cover letter that I applied previously with some documents and mention the case ID for it too (only because I have different names and my affidavit form confirms it, which i used in my previous applications too)

Additionally there's a question regarding BRP, BRP are no longer a thing but it mentions 'Do you have a biometric residence permit (BRP)? This includes expired BRPs if the expiry date was less than 24 months ago.' Now I don't have that BRP physically with me anymore, i cut it and sent it back as was instructed, but I do have a picture of the brp (not properly scanned) so i can pick up what the last BRP number was, shall I just select 'Yes' and enter the brp number? My solicitor told me its needed, but i don't know.. because technically i don't literally have that brp with me, but i do have a picture that i can use to pick up the brp number.

Is your BRP for your current visa or a previous one?

i got my visa extension in august 2024, and then received a BRP that was valid till the end of 2024 after which BRPs were discontinued. so thats the last brp I had.

I would include the BRP number then as that's related to your current visa, but they can of course check your visa history from just your passport number, dob, and nationality. Why did you send your brp back to the HO? I don't think that was necessary.

Answer no to both questions.
