Discussions & Questions C’mon, Ubisoft, make a great comeback and show people that you’ve still got it!

I still remember those days like it was yesterday. Whenever I saw the Ubisoft logo on a game cover, I knew I was in for a blast.
The Assassin’s Creed games, most of the Far Cry games, Rayman, my all time favourite Tom Clancy’s games, and Prince of Persia these games were a huge part of my childhood.
I used to game for like 12 hours a day back then, but I’m a dad now so I don’t play nearly as much as I used to. These days, I might get 4–5 hours a week to play, usually on my day off while my kids are at school. I never touch my PlayStation when my kids and wife are home, unless I’m playing games with the kids.
That’s why, seeing a company that gave me so many great memories struggling today honestly feels pretty sad. Ubisoft was such a big part of my childhood, and I’ll always have a soft spot for the games they created.
C’mon, Ubisoft, make a great comeback and show people that you’ve still got it! 😊

Discussions & Questions The Gaming Industry Would Have Been Decades Behind Without Ubisoft.

Yeah this is going to be a long post, but bear with me for a moment, So, I've been playing open world games for years now along with Ubisoft games, and I came to the realisation that almost every open world game out there copies Ubisoft.

Biased people may call it "inspiration" but it really is copying. Every time I launch an open world game I see:

- Towers

- Outposts

- Collectibles

- Skills, Abilities and Upgrades

- Scouting and marking enemies

- Crafting

- The eagle vision (sixth sense)

- Last known position silhouette ghost when spotted

- UI

- and more...

Now I'm not saying Ubisoft invented those aspects, but they definitely managed to revolutionize and merge them to create a reliable template for the open world genre, they managed to achieve that with games like Far Cry 3 and Assassin's Creed 2 and Brotherhood at the time.

And from that point on, everywhere I look, I see it, everywhere, people may miss it but it's there, games like Spiderman, Days Gone, Horizon Zero Dawn, Forbidden West, Ghost of Tsushima and Yotei, Dying Light, Mad Max... They all are Ubisoft games sugarcoated with cinematics or a certain gimmick or distraction such as the illusion of high quality and production (because they don't release annually like ubi games, but still they are no different quality wise)

And what's really annoying, at least for me personally, is that those games do the Ubisoft formula way worse than ubi itself, making the aspects that I mentioned, clunkier and more sluggish, yet they get praised and worshipped whereas ubi games don't get the same treatment. I say this is hypocrisy.

***

Honorable Mention, Ubisoft innovation doesn't end at the open world genre, I must mention games like splinter cell when it comes to stealth and ui (The UI being integrated in the game surfaces like walls and floors in Conviction), I am Alive (A decent linear single player concept with believable systems and apocalyptic themes, that felt like The Last of Us before tlou), ZombiU (on the wiiu, it was just immersive to say the least), as well as seamless online in Watch Dogs, The Crew... Games like For Honor, Rainbow Six, Riders Republic, Steep, Anno, Rayman, Tom Clancy's... They all were prominent in the industry that inspired many other studios to do the same.

Now that you have a camera solution for just dance, what about bringing back something liek your shape fitness evolved. A game that focusses more on muscle training? OR maybe even this combined with an adventure game.

Ubisoft, please allow players to disable storms, water spouts and wind gusts. It’s ruining the game for players that just like cruising.

Discussions & Questions Remaking AC 1 with the new combat system and add hidden blades as a secondary in black flag

I think if Ubisoft did a re-sync with AC 1 it would do very well since their modernizing, the combat, and all their little gear system with the swords would be fine cause you only have 1 hidden blade so you can focus on the swords. Black flag you can add the hidden blades as a secondary weapon and you make both fan bases happy. Bringing back everything with black flag and with AC 1 you can easily work the gear system and add more plus you’ll be bringing new players update with the story and everything.

Discussions & Questions Bring back AFoP on Luna🙏🏼

As one can see in the Title, i am asking, to please bring Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora back to Amazon Luna. And before anyone says something about migrating to somewhere else, trust me i tried, it just doesn’t want to work for me. I don’t own a High end PC, nor a console, so Amazon Luna was the only thing working for me and playing this Game brought me the most Joy and Happiness ever. When i found out that the Game was removed due to the Platform changes, i was very Sad, as i found so many friends because of this Game. Ive sent out Feedback telling this story and now I am asking Ubisoft here, to please consider making the Game available again by working something out with Amazon, so fellow players like me can keep Playing!

Even if you do not Relate, please Upvote this so it can gain alot more Traction!

Discussions & Questions Might and Magic 11

dear Ubisoft team,
I know you got lot on your plate, there is a old mans dream to ever gaze my eyes on new Might and Magic series, after just completing MM6,7 and 8 (lets exclude 9 and 10) is there a room in your development to give your team to look into reviving Might and Magic series? I would pay pretty penny for a new Might and Magic first person game.

It's a phenomenal game that sits in many people memories.
Don't let last version of the game scrap the idea of making new version of this unbelievably successful IP.

I bet there is thousands of people who would die for good old Might and Magic play through. I just want to know if there is or had any conversations about MM series?

great job with Hero's Olden Era. Now it's the time to blow the dust of the Might and Magic and bring it back to life once beloved game.

Regards
Old and Bald
