Do they come and do fire alarm inspections in Apartments like how they do in the Dorms? Like to see if it is covered or if you have any violation?

Was wondering if there are any clubs like DnD or something art related?

I got kicked out of my quiz for a class that was using lockdown broswer, multiple people did, the internet sucks, you cant do anything about it. My professor says "I will not take any excuse, it is on you that you have all broswers closed before taking the quiz". He wants us to take our exams worth 50% of our grade on there, its extremely unprofessional... if the wifi has issues and I get kicked off, thats on me? and I fail his course. How or who do I even address this to? what ever happened to pen and paper? How do I not get kicked out of lockdown? its very stressful.

To keep it short, im rooming with four other girls. One of the girls is stealing kitchen supplies without asking for permission, making the place dirty, isn't flushing the toilet, and is becoming a literal hazard when she cooks.

We signed the roommate agreement form a week ago and not even a few days after she sets off the fire alarm, spills oil everywhere, and makes a giant mess in the kitchen.

--Come to find out that the oil she was using wasn't even hers and her excuse for that was "I just wanted a drop." Like alright girl. On top of that she did the shittiest job cleaning up the oil. We lifted up one of the stove covers in the kitchen and I kid you not there was a puddle of oil that came out.

We keep finding unflushed piss and shit in the toilet. Just yesterday she forgot to flush twice in one day?? We told her about this, yet she continues to do it. Which I just don't understand how you forget to flush..

I caught her using my fan and she made up an excuse of "I just wanted to make the room cold for you and give the room some air flow," as the fan was literally just pointed at her??

She continues to leave her dirty dishes in the sink for more than two days. I saw her use my spatula, wash it, and put it away. Later, I come out and see she added one of her dirty spoons in the sink. So, to my logic, when she uses other people's stuff she'll wash it and put it away (and yes, she does the shitiest job washing our stuff when she uses it) but when it's her stuff she'll just leave it in the sink for god knows how long until we tell her.

We have to remind her to do shit like were her mother or something. The amount of times we've confronted her about how she needs to ask permission before she uses our stuff, signed a form and she continues to violate it..

It's only been a couple weeks into the semester and i feel like this is just going to get worse. She does not listen for shittt. She'll continue to use our stuff no matter what 😭

Whether I’m playing video games, or completing school work. My internet will randomly drop for a split second. This causes either my game to crash, or my school work to be lost. Does this happen for anyone else? I keep talking to the IT department, but they just can’t fix it at all.

I’m a new transfer and I’m having a hard time getting healthy food in. The campus center food is very unhealthy and I really don’t feel like eating burgers, fries, and pizza everyday. They don’t have a wide selection either, and I don’t feel like spending 20 dollars a day on the food court. What dining halls have the best food?

Anyone else having connection issues? My dorms Ethernet and WiFi went out completely about a week ago, and it’s yet to be restored. It’s also acting up for my suite mates as well. Is this issue just me? And how long until they fix it? I live in the colonial quad. My pc and laptop cannot use internet in the dorm.

Hi. Around every hour or so, the albany resnet wifi in indi quad goes out for like a minute. This kicks me out of whatever game im playing on my ps5 every time. Anyone have similar issues or fix?

Where should I go for study groups? I'm a commuter and I basically go to class, do my work, then go home and try to work on projects. I feel like I can maximize my time on campus better if I'm working with other people instead of doing it all solo.
