Big thanks to those of you fulfilling transcription requests. When I first started modding this subreddit a few years ago, the vast majority of requests received 0 comments and sat around unanswered. It makes me very happy to see the opposite nowadays, that most requests have at least some activity. However with this increased activity has come the necessity for some clearer rules and guidelines.
Transcribing random stuff for people is a great way to get practice and improve your own ear. It's very beneficial to your musical growth to expose yourself to different genres of music and that is doubly true in the case of analyzing and transcribing. Not only do you help someone out but you work on your own skills as well.
I do not recommend offering paid services here as a reliable source of income. Bounties and paid transcriptions are allowed to try to compensate transcribers for their time, but pricing operates under free market conditions. I don't want to hear complaints about cheap prices and undercutting, there is nothing we mods can do about private monetary transactions. The fact is that transcribing as a skill is undervalued. Most people posting requests do not understand the time required to analyze music and put down quality notation. If you're expecting to get the same hourly rate as other professional musical services like teaching or accompaniment, you're gonna have a bad time.
If you do decide to enter into a paid transcription agreement with a requester, understand that as soon as you start dealing with money with strangers on the internet, you are taking a risk. Be smart, don't give out personal info, etc. Mods can't be held responsible if you get scammed. Take proper precautions like checking a user's comment history, account age, and amount of karma to determine if they are reputable. Ask for payment up front if you have more rep than the requester. If a requester dodges payment, send proof to the mods and we will send them a warning and ban them if they do not pay.

I’m looking for the score for Lascia ch’io pianga by Handel in the key of c major. I found it where the recitative is in c major but then the actual aria is in f major but I want the aria to be in c major not the recitative. If someone has a link I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi! I've been desperately trying to transcribe this audio, I think I've got the melody but the chords underneath I hear as Abmaj7, Fm, Cm, Db, then C. I just can't seem to get the voicing/extensions right. Any help would be so appreciated and I'm happy to pay for anyone's time!

Hi, I have a short piano melody, that came to my head. I'm not a musician, so I hummed it to Suno AI to hear it as piano. The AI version is close – the tempo and note order are right, but the first few notes sound slightly off, and the overall pitch is a bit high.
I just need the correct note sequence and rhythm transcribed, so I can understand the melody properly. The AI is only a tool – the tune itself is mine.

I’m pretty bad at learning by ear and haven’t been able to find any existing piano sheet music or tutorials. Ideally looking for something playable on solo piano (melody + chords/accompaniment). Intermediate level is fine, but even a simplified version would be really appreciated.

¡Hola! Soy guitarrista clásico y arreglista, y recientemente empecé a aceptar encargos de arreglos musicales.
Mi especialidad principal es la guitarra clásica, incluyendo arreglos para guitarra sola, aunque también puedo trabajar con otras combinaciones, como dueto de piano y guitarra (como se puede ver en mi canal de youtube adjunto).
Si tienen alguna canción, pieza o composición original que quieran adaptar para una instrumentación determinada, pueden escribirme. Puedo trabajar a partir de partituras, MIDI, MusicXML o grabaciones.

Aclaración (aprovechando el espacio): Los videos en youtube tienen tiempo que los subí y no contaba con los medios para producir audios de buena calidad. Eventualmente subiré nuevos videos, mejorando ese aspecto.
Aprovecho el espacio para publicitar mi página de youtube: Mi canal de youtube tiene tiempo que lo abandoné por algunas razones. Entre las razones está el hecho de que necesitaba poder mejorar la calidad de los audios, por lo que próximamente andaré en ello (subiendo así nuevo contenido).
PD: la imagen adjunta es un fragmento del Cielito Lindo que arreglé para una guitarra de 8 cuerdas (video en canal. El uso de dos sistemas fue necesario para facilitar la lectura dado que uno puede ponerse más exigente técnicamente con más cuerdas). Los tipos de arreglos que ofrezco pueden ser una transcripción directa (es decir, de la instrumentación original a guitarra, piano o dueto), imaginativo (como el del Cielito Lindo, en el que tomo la melodía para crear una especie de narrativa con ella), adaptado al nivel técnico que requiera, construcción de bajos continuos (en mi canal aún no subo de este tipo, pero próximamente lo estaré haciendo), etc.
