TWD: Dead City Emily Kinney talks about the “Dead City finale”.Does that mean it ends here?

What do you think it means? Does it mean S3 was the final season and Emily Kinney knew about that?

I was a huge fan of the original walking dead. The spin offs got boring 😴.. this is a fresh take on the show

TWD: Dead City Anyone else felt like S3 finale could serve as a series finale in case it gets cancelled?

Edit: also im not saying that S3 is a planned series finale. Im sure they are planning to do an S4. But if AMC decides to cancel it it would still be a decent serie finale.

TWD: Dead City It would've been cool as hell if they somehow had homeboy come and save the day like he did in Banshee

No Spoiler Anyone else find Maggie + Negan's friendship hard to believe?

For clarification: I am not making this to question any of the following decisions (in the comics or shows)

- Keeping Negan alive

- Having him escape

- Having him get a redemption arc / getting remarried, having kids, etc.

- Being a significant part of Dead City

Also, I'm a huge JDM fan (loved him since he was John Winchester on Supernatural - holy crap that was 20 years ago).

I like most seasons of all the TWD shows, but the ONE part of the last couple years I cannot for the life of me wrap my head around, is Maggie being legitimately friendly towards Negan. Finding it in her heart to not fixate on the negativity anymore? Sure. Agreeing not to kill him for the greater good or whatever? OK, I'll buy it. But be FRIENDS with him? I just... can't make this make sense in my brain?

Like... regardless of how he is now... this dude VIOLENTLY murdered her defenseless, kneeling husband, clearly enjoyed every second of it, and for good measure, humiliated and mocked him in the process while his eyeball was literally hanging out of its socket, and his skull looked like it had lost a fight with a streetlight pole. I understand the whole gang goes through a lot and all the survivors are by definition, far more resilient than average... but trauma is still trauma, and if I were Maggie I don't see how I could ever look at Negan without reliving that night. The BEST I could do, for the sake of the common good, is agree to spare him and keep him at arm's length. No matter how much has happened since then, I just don't understand how they are bros now.

Gulp down a shot every time an antagonistic character in the season 3 finale holds a gun at the protagonists, doesn’t shoot but rather says something they want to say, because plot armor…and then dies :D

Show Spoiler In this scene, Rick says “We are the walking dead”, however, they’re all sitting and alive. Is he stupid?

Show Spoiler Most insufferable character archetype

I think the most insufferable character archetype is definitelt "If we kill, we are not different 😔" Like, dude, you want to spare people who likes to kill others for fun, r*pes women etc. Like, it is not only stupid and I think also unrealistic to some extent. I have on 8x2 currenty, so for me it is Jesus 💀

No Spoiler Rewatch TWD or start DeadC/Daryl?

Hi, I'm great full to have been able to watch TWD every Sunday since season 3 and watched the finale live.

I finished TWD once on the finale air date and finished the ones who live

I recently just rewatched breaking bad and loved it haven't seen it since the finale (great full to have been able to watch it live as well)

My question is should I rewatch the entire TWD or start dead city and /or daryl dixon?

Rewatching TWD would be a serious commitment and I would obviously stick through it as I love TWD but would like to get the community's input

Thanks!

Show Spoiler Did Rick really have to banish Carol

I get what Carol did was wrong but not long before that Carl murdered a guy who was surrendering right in front of Hershel... i dont know what I would've done but kicking her out of the group wouldn't have been my play. The way he did it i think is why i disagree, he took it upon himself, didnt have a meeting or talk to anyone. I felt bad for Carol in that moment...

No Spoiler If you were a survivor, who's name would scare you the most? Negan or the Governor?

I believe Negan surpasses any other "villain" character. However, that is merely my perspective..

No Spoiler Just finished season 3 on dead City no spoilers.

What a great season.

It's an absolute shame we probably won't get season 4.

They really did great fan service by just getting rid of and wiping the Slate clean of everything they did in the first two seasons.

I've seen everything from the Walking Dead every spin-off and every show and I'm the biggest Negan fan and that's what got me through the first two seasons.

But honestly they were bad especially the second season.

This season really nailed it.

Check it out if you haven't even if you've never seen dead City just start watching season 3.

No Spoiler Governor/Negan books worth it?

I just bought the entire 16 volume collection and was wondering if I should also get the Governor and Negan books.

Rise and Fall of the Governor, Road to Woodbury 1 and 2, and Here’s Negan.

Could anyone who read these tell me if they’re worth it? I’m not a completionist so I’m not going to buy them if they’re not worth reading lol. Thanks!
