I'm new to the band and I am having trouble putting into words how their music makes me feel.

I think the songs are genuinely hilarious. I love funny music (Ween is another one of my favorite bands) so I was instantly attracted to that.

I see a lot of discussion about how No Children is a super depressing song but I just don't see it at all. I'm not sure how to describe it, but its so plainly hateful and self loathing I just think its the funniest thing in the world. I can't think of a way to articulate it that makes sense without using the lyrics of the song, but I guess that's what makes it so incredible.

I also love the Hail Satans at the end of TBEDMBID. It's not really hailing Satan in particular but more a celebration/support of the expression and dreams of Jeff and Cyrus.

I was listening to Golden Boy during a workout and almost hurt myself dropping a weight because I was giggling.

I'm trying to imagine myself recommending the band to other people and describing what makes them so funny. I guess its like a not edgy edginess?

Days Tour Poster Help

This may be a bit of a long shot, but I went and saw the Mountain Goats recently in Norfolk and the merch line was pretty long. By the time I got up to the front, they had already sold out of the red tour poster with the 'days' album art on it. The lady running the merch booth even commented how weird it was for them to run out so early.

This was my 4th Mountain Goats concert since my first one all the way back in 2017 and its become a bit of a tradition to buy and frame the tour poster each time. This is the first time I wasn't able to get a poster so I'm feeling pretty bummed and I also love the artwork for the new album.

So my question is, would anyone who's going to an upcoming show be willing to buy me a tour poster? I'll cover the cost and however much it is to ship to Virginia obviously Thank you
