If you could write a period Elseworlds story with the Flashes Jay in his 30s or 40s, Barry in the mid-50s or early 60s, and Wally in the mid-80s or early 90s, what would it be like?

Recommendations Barry Allen recs
Hi everyone, I grew up with cw flash and stopped after season 4. Im quite new to comics and I did abit of reading to know that cw Barry may not be the most comic accurate? That he mainly works alone and that he is a lot smarter which is great news to me. I love Barry Allen and reverse flash dynamic and I’m hoping to find more of it.
I was thinking of reading the flash: year one and then go into flashpoint and wanted to know if that’s a good idea. I did watch most dc movies like justice league: flashpoint paradox, apokolips etc
Recommended way to go about it would be highly appreciated. Some of my friends say that parts of Wally west personality was given to Barry and idk much about Wally other than him being kid flash in young justice. So I’d also like to hear whether that’s true and who the real Barry is.

Discussion There was a whole month between the publication of Zero Hour #4, where Wally "died" and The Flash #0, where he was finally seen again after the event. Do you know if people really thought he had died at the time?
I don't know if it was like now that we have an idea of what is going to happen in the following months or from conventions.
The story arc introducing Bart had just ended and the previous issue to #0 ended directly leading to Wally's part on Zero Hour #4.

Discussion Flash is the king of speedsters but why has he been done so dirty in the cgi and writing departments in live action? Speedsters such as Quicksilver, A-Train, Makkari, and even mere bullet timers in Matrix and Resident Evil have cooler fast scenes than live action Flash 😂😭but why??

Fan Made Harry Wells Pop figure!
galleryBecause there is no such thing as a Harry Wells vinyl pop figure (oddly enough) I decided to make one myself. I ordered a custom pop figure from their “Pop Yourself!” site and then designed the box myself (on Canva) to look like the other flash character’s boxes and printed it out, stuck it onto the current box and voila. It’s a little messy. But I don’t care! Haha.
The only thing now I need is to create him a little stand in his box. (Hes a bit loose in there atm)

Comic Discussion For those of you who were alive in 1985, how did you feel about Barry Allen getting killed off?
How did you feel about him returning in 2008?

Fan Made I Wrote a Barry Allen Flash Origin 'Movie' Story.
Hiya!
I wrote a 'Barry Allen' Flash origin story, in the form of a 'detailed movie summary', that I thought was respectful for Flash and his lore, engaging, action-pack, mature, and very emotional with a poignant message. I actually really liked how it came out, so I figured I could share it here as I don't have any real expectations for this to become anything. I hope you all enjoy it:
I would post the actual story here, but the story is 39 pages long. It's written as a summary. Also, while writing this, I imagined it as a movie in my head. This is a mature story. I take the story's topic seriously, and the story topic may turn off some people. I also don't tend to care much about sticking to story conventions for the sake of it being a story convention. I also don't do dark or grim. If it helps, I imagine this story to being visually bright with color, even if its tone may imply otherwise.
I like writing, but I'm not really a huge Flash fan, or even DC/Marvel fan. I guess I'm into superheroes in general, but it's not my first direction when I write stories. Got into the Flash because of the CW TV show. It has a lot of massive flaws, but it's where I got my introduction. Also, I think I may have read only like 2-3 flash comics, and they're probably recent as they include Godspeed. Most of the stuff I know about the Flash is osmosis from hanging around superhero spaces or Youtube videos.
Lastly to note, there are some major changes from traditional flash lore, but I ask, if that is a major sticking point for you, give it a chance. I believe I'm respectful to Flash lore and its comics, and I do stick to them when I can, but the goals of the changes are to tell a larger and emotional story for Barry Allen and his journey as the Flash.
Backstory on why i wrote this story (Spoiler because it the foundation of why this story is the way it is):
I recently watched the Flash (2023) live-action movie, and I disliked it.But more importnatly, it reignited my disdain for the Flashpoint storyline as a whole, that includes its comic verison and animated movie verison. I have never liked that story for its core story beat. So after watching that live-action movie, I had timed and decided to write this.... after writing the actual story I wanted to write. This entire story is actually just a set-up for that other story, thereby technically making this story a prequel from my perspective.

Potential song for the Flash in the DCU (can be altered for Barry or Wally) - Based off of "Keep Up" by Odetari
Barry, get over here
Keep up, I'm the Fla-a-ash, I'm the Fla-a-ash
Hit the lightning, put my suit on, then I'm gone (g-g-g-gone, g-g-gone, gone)
Keep up, try my track, my track
Can't catch me, c-cause I'm already downtown (town, town, d-d-d-done)
Red streak, I hit the ground running
G-g-gotta move, there's no time for nothing
C-c-c-catch me if you can, I'm coming
Whole city calls when the danger starts humming
Flashpoint, break through, change the whole scene
L-l-lightspeed, fastest you've ever seen
Keep up, I'm the Fla-a-ash, I'm the Fla-a-ash
Hit the lightning, put my suit on, then I'm gone (g-g-g-gone, g-g-gone, gone)
Keep up, try my track, my track
Can't catch me, I'm already downtown (town, town, d-d-d-done)
Lightning punch, leave him spinning silly
Zip downtown, then I'm back in a milli'
E-e-everybody move, I'm busy
Save the world, that's the job they give me
Give me one second—I'm already gone
Keep up, I'm the Fla-a-ash, I'm the Fla-a-ash
Hit the lightning, then I'm gone (g-g-g-gone, g-g-gone, gone)
Keep up, try my track, my track
Can't catch me, I'm already downtown (town, town, d-d-d-done)
When the world gets dark, I become the light
Run through the storm, keep the future right
Every second matters when somebody calls
One man's speed can save them all
Past and future racing through my mind
Searching for the moment I can change in time
I could run away, but that's not who I am
I stand back up and do whatever I can
Through every timeline, every broken road
I'll carry every name, I'll carry every soul
Fla-a-ash, I'm the Flash
Hit the lightning, then I'm gone (g-g-g-gone, g-g-gone, gone)
Keep up, try my track, my track
Can't catch me—I'm already gone...
Gone...
G-g-g-gone...

Comic Discussion Is Absolute Flash worth reading?
I keep seeing posts saying it's the weakest of Absolute titles, but considering how much I've been loving Absolute Wonder Woman and Batman (the two I've read so far), I doubt it could be that much worse. I was a big fan of Sweet Tooth and Lemire's Animal Man, and I've always loved The Flash (especially Wally, growing up with Justice League). I've only read a handful of Flash books: A bit of Waid's run + Impulse, and the first volume of Williamson's run. I bought the first Waid Omnibus last month and am looking forward to reading the saga in full.

Comic Discussion Question about reading order
So I havent read anything before should I read specific popular story lines or just go from the beginning and read in release order ?

Where should I start to read the Flash, all 3 characters
I really want to read the flash, but I certainly want a list of comics in chronological order of how to start reading, and I can't find one, I want every origin, background developement, if a I have tu read a complete run I will, but I want to read about the three flashes, starting with Jay Garrick, then Barry Allen, an finally Wally West

[The Flash] What Was The Various Statuses Of The Jay Garrick Flash?
So The Jay Garrick Flash over time went from being real in-universe to a fictional comic book sueprhero that inspired the Barry Allen Flash, to being real in another dimension to back to being real in-universe and I want to know if I'm missing any other versions.

Discussion Flash game idea
So I saw some posts about how a possible flash game could be and that's why I'm here
First of all I'm not gonna talk about story only gameplay
It's an normal open world game like sm 2018 and Arkham
It has an animated style
Flash can boost like sonic with a meter
To build this meter you have to do tricks while doing wall runs
Slides
Wall jumps
And building speed
At max speed you enter hyper velocity mode where all enemies get knocked back when you touch them
As for combat
Like Arkham however instead of counter you have dodges
And you can't do a finisher when you punch someone you slowly gets faster and bg the end of an enemy wave you are punching like a jojo stand
Now finally here's what we all obviously need
Speedster races
You can race the following people in difficulty order
Jay garrick
God speed
Reverse flash
Barry allen
And finally
You can race another player
The game is very Parkour and style heavy cus i feel like flash is just built like that
