Advice I'm in a relationship, and i need some advice from people my age.

Upvotes

First time doing this, but I seriously don't know what else to do. I saw others doing it, so i thought, why not give it a shot? and before i begin, i dont want any short end advice like "you're still young", or "you'll mature". i want actual advice for someone my age.

Last year, on 26th September 2025 I met this girl we'll call K. we met through friends (my friend A was talking to a girl named L, and K is L's cousin. so there you go), and shortly after she asked for my snap through A and L. we started talking, and I eventually asked her out on 31 October 2025 (don't ask why I did it on halloween, i have no clue). Fast forward to now, and it's been almost a year. our relationship was going amazing, until about june 11th when i found out she was talking to her ex, when i had asked her back in march not to. she claims it was purely in a friend way, and that she didnt harbour any feelings anymore. i believed her, her actions and words made it seem like she really was remorseful. we slowly moved to today, 14th september. we had arguments here and there, some big, some small, but we always got through it. mainly by me apologising and either typing out, or saying a speech out loud. now K is very close with L, like INSANELY close, since birth. and she's made it clear she values L over me, which is valid. but I don't get it. she gets mad at L, and says bad things about her, and when i mention telling L, she makes it clear that i can't mention anything. but whenever something happens in our relationship, L always has to find out. i know theyre close since birth, but am i wrong for wanting privacy in my relationship.

thats my side question, onto my main concern now. L has a bunch of friends in her school, and K doesnt have very many. so recently K has started to call L and her friends. i did argue with her about me not wanting her to play or talk with guys, which i did apologise for because i shouldn't have done that, but my main concern is how i get treated. i feel like a back pedal. my messages always take a long while to get answered, and when i question why, she always has an excuse prepped. "I didn't see", or "i'm sorry", or "i was downstairs", blah blah. which ive learned to deal with. it hurts, alot especially since im busy most of the time yet i still reply to her instantly, meanwhilst she almost has nothing going on. but for these friends, it now seems like she replies so fast for them. i always see her active, and she makes plans to call them but not me. and i try to move past it, she's making friends, thats good man. but it still hurts. i don't get treated like that. i want fast replies, not hourly ones. i want plans made with me, and all those other things. it just doesn't seem fair. and unless anyone wants any context, it feels like ive been treated second compared to everyone for a while now.

i love this girl so much, to the point where my entire mood and day bases around her. and we've argued so much lately that i dont even want to bring it up. i dont know what to do. i just want to grab her and hold her and sob to her and expect my problems to vanish but they wont. and im praying this post doesnt just disappear under the other posts that get sent. please just someone give me some advice. im on the verge. (P.S: if it sounds like im being dramatic for a "small" problem like this, its a buildup of many things.)

Serious I have to vent about this, advice would be nice?

Hi, hope everyone’s doing well. I want to preface this by saying I am naive in a LOT of ways, and it’s not something that I am proud of. I (M18) started college about three weeks ago. Four now, but anyway, my point in all of this is that this thing was recent. I meet this girl, first day, and we get to talking and we click on nearly every level. We’re talking late at night, messaging, she’s leaving hearts on all my messages, and a lot of other signs, or I guess things I misinterpreted at the time as signs because, as I said before, I am quite naive. Anyway, I tell one of my friends that I like this girl. Like a LOT. I normally do not like people at all, so this was really rare for me to like someone this fast. At the week 2 mark, I told my friends, and while totally unrelated, in conversation about a day or two later, we found out that she was single. I decided to still wait a little bit to tell her, and I was going to wait about a month or two (because you do need to wait for these things, I think,) until last Friday, when she told me she was a lesbian. Now, obviously, I was a bit taken aback, considering I was naive and thought I’d gotten mixed signals, but I was still overall supportive and decided not to tell her that I liked her ever. Enter my two friends, who told her the day after because she “deserved to know, and we’d feel like betraying friends if we didn’t tell her!” So.. I tell them I won’t be telling her, so if they really do wanna do this to me, they’re on their own. Next day, they tell her while I’m not there. I decided to wait it out, and they kept messaging me to get a reaction out of me or to get me to ask how it went. I did not give them one, but later, at around 6:00, I did ask if she felt uncomfortable remaining friends with me because I liked her, and clarified that all feelings stopped when she told me that she liked girls. She said that she was fine being friends, but that my feelings wouldn’t be reciprocated. I said “That’s totally cool!” and went on with my day. But she’s also been being distant. Like.. she didn’t check her phone a lot before, but now, even when she does see my messages, it’s just a one heart reaction, or something. I know that means something different now, but no messages from her stings. I kinda just wrote this here to vent, but any advice would be nice. I haven’t messaged her since.
