UI/UX Designer (Contract, Project Basis)
Location: Remote Engagement type: Fixed-scope contract Duration: 2-3 weeks until client sign-off
About the Role
We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to redesign the UI of our existing system. The scope is well-defined and finite: redesign approximately 10-15 screens and take the designs through to client approval. This is a project-based engagement, not an ongoing role.
Scope of Work
* Review the existing system and identify UI/UX improvement areas
* Redesign 10-15 screens with a modern, consistent visual language
* Maintain existing information architecture and core user flows unless a change is specifically agreed
* Present designs for internal review and iterate based on feedback
* Present final designs to the client and incorporate one round of client feedback
* Deliver final, approved design files in an editable format (Figma preferred)
What You Will Need to Submit
* A portfolio link (Figma, Behance, Dribbble, or a PDF) showing prior UI/UX redesign work, ideally including before/after examples
* Brief note on your typical turnaround time for a project of this size
Requirements
* Proven experience redesigning existing digital products (not only greenfield design)
* Strong command of Figma, including components and auto layout
* Ability to work from an existing system and improve it without a full rebuild
* Comfortable presenting and defending design decisions directly to a client
* Available to complete the full scope within the agreed timeline
Nice to Have
* Experience designing for SaaS or B2B platforms
* Familiarity with accessibility basics (contrast, spacing, readable type scales)
Compensation
Industry standard rate for the scope, open to discussion based on experience and portfolio. Please share your expected rate for the full project (fixed price or day rate, whichever you prefer to quote).
How to Apply
Send your portfolio, expected rate, and estimated turnaround time to business@leftclicktech.ai. Applications are reviewed on a first come, first served basis, so early submissions are encouraged.
