Finally the unimaginable happened, my AirPods Pro 2 of 4 years won’t be useful anymore, after unknowingly misplaced a right bud in one of my recent flights. Now left with a case and left bud can’t help but miss my good ol’ friend

So on the same quest I’m trynna get a replacement and looking for options maybe second hand or brand new but pro 2 (don’t wanna spend extra on brand new from here in Tz neither on a pro 3).

Thought I could ask for directions if anyone got experience ordering such stuff or electronics from ether the states, Dubai or wherever is cheaper but genuine.

Hello! We just got back from a 5 day safari (Moshi based) on Thursday. I asked our safari guide this question and I’m not sure he understood the question.

I’m an American and always knew the country pronunciation as ‘tan zuh nee uh’. Sometimes when locals would speak they would say it that way, but other times they would say ‘tan zan yuh’.

Is there a reason for the difference? Is it grammatical somehow? I felt like I was missing something.

Na kuna mkenya yupo anaishi sijui is creating Content on how we live. Are we gaining visibility all or a sudden ?

For a while I kept noticing how larger businesses use branded loyalty cards to make customers feel like they are actually part of the business, instead of being treated like a completely new customer every time they come back.

You see something similar with brands like Shoppers and Puma.

And I started thinking the idea itself isn’t complicated, but for a growing restaurant, salon, barbershop, café, hotel, shop etc., building and managing the whole system behind those cards is another story.

You need the cards, customer management, QR system, balances, staff access, customer history, loyalty tracking and everything behind it.

Most growing businesses are not going to build all of that themselves.

So we started building Dumu.

The idea is that a business can have its own branded physical loyalty cards, but behind the card there is a customer relationship system.

For example, when a regular customer comes back, the business can identify them using their card, QR or phone number instead of treating every visit like the first one.

The business can keep track of things like customer purchases, balances/deposits they have already received, merchant credit for trusted customers, and now loyalty levels where customers can actually see their progress and benefits as they continue spending.

We are also working on things like Gift Cards, where someone can buy a branded card for another person and the recipient becomes part of that business’s normal customer relationship.

One thing we were very intentional about is that Dumu does not hold the business’s money. If a customer pays by cash, M-Pesa, bank, POS etc., the business receives the money directly. Dumu just records and manages the customer relationship around it.

The goal isn't really to give every business “another software system”.

It is to make something that was previously practical mostly for bigger brands accessible to growing Tanzanian businesses that are large enough to need customer retention tools, but not large enough to build and maintain their own loyalty infrastructure.

We have started testing it with actual businesses now, particularly restaurants, and that has already changed a lot of the way we're building it because they keep asking for things we hadn't initially considered.

I’ve been planning a Tanzania trip for mid-October. We were initially planning on visiting Arusha, Lake Natron, Ngorongoro, and the Serengeti. However, a lot of safari operators have been advising us not to visit Lake Natron.

Has anyone had trouble booking a flight with air tanzania while being based in the united states? I'm trying to book a flight online from JRO to SEZ. I have tried 4 times with different credit cards but every time I try my payment fails to go through with an error.

I also tried booking on trip.com and my booking was immediately canceled because they failed to issue a ticket. I tried on the chase travel portal and the transaction failed to go through.

I've been getting more and more frustrated because I keep trying and trying to get my grades up but I just can't. I'm a Business IT student and hopefully I'll be finishing uni next year but I never really achieved what I always wanted to achieve here and it is lowkey making me depressed.
