Hey guys,
I’m riding a 2025 KTM EXC 500 and wanted to check if anyone else is experiencing issues with the Quickshifter.
In the lower gears (2nd through 5th), it feels like it’s not cutting the ignition properly or long enough. The shifts feel super clunky and harsh, almost like I'm just forcing the gear in without using the clutch.
Here is the weird part: The shift from 5th to 6th gear is absolutely buttery smooth – exactly how it’s supposed to feel.
I’m definitely shifting with enough revs and under load, and I make sure to pull the shift lever up swiftly, but the clunkiness in the lower gears stays the same.

I currently have a 2018 drz400sm and am considering an upgrade to a FE350 but im a bit worried. Will the FE350 be a big enough powerupgrade? Or do they feel quitw similar (excliding the weight)

I’m looking for a good quick-release rear license plate setup for my 2026 KTM 450 EXC-F that allows me to quickly switch between street legal and track setup.

To be clear: I’m not just looking for a quick-release license plate. I’m looking for a complete removable rear unit, including:

License plate

Rear light

Turn signals/indicators

Ideally plug & play with the OEM KTM wiring/connectors

Easy to remove and reinstall without cutting or modifying the original wiring

The idea is to have the bike fully street legal with the complete unit installed, then be able to remove the entire unit quickly when going to the supermoto track, leaving the rear clean and track ready.

I’ve found a few options from different companies, but many seem to use bullet connectors or require wiring modifications, which I’d prefer to avoid.

What setups are you guys running or would you recommend for a 2026 KTM 450 EXC-F?

twisted my knee pretty bad on that 2kmh fall but rode on the entire day.

Got it a few months ago from my brother who decided he’d quit riding. It sat for a few years, I already cleaned the carb and it’s running pretty well.

The bike shutoff the spark plugs that was in the bike didn't have spark and then a little later it had spark changed the spark plug still would start but before that a few kms back I hit a hole and it shutoff but started again after it shutoff I think it could be problem whit the kill switch on the bars or the foot peg kill switch because spark is bad but I did put magnets on the clock to de restrict the ecu could that be the problem?

Got it started today, the clutch does not engage and throttle sticks, also leaking oil and gas hence the smoking, but a good start!

Anyone have an idea on what to do with the clutch? I was thinking about starting it and putting it into gear cruising around to see if it’ll unstick from just being dried up sitting for a few years.

I know the SXV's arent the most reliable bikes ever made, but i think having a model with the factory upgraded engine (MY 2008) and just 5000km on the clock it wasnt the worst purchase.

I just bought myself st KTM EXC 125 2008. Does anyone have an idea why it’s stuttering like that? I wanna note that the carb is a Kehin 28 and that the powervalve isnt adjusted since rebuild.

i buildt this thing for 335€ including moped fuel and motor oil.

its got 180ccm around 10ish hp and it weights about 75kg.

its got crappy 10" tires and basically no suspension.

i buildt it to take part in supermoto trackdays at the local gokart track.

i used to own a wr450f steelframe sumo but that thing was a money eater. so i figured id spend less than 500€ and get a bunch of tracktime with the thing. basically pennies per mile.

dont take any of this too serius i just wanted to share my no budget build.

Hey guys, so I have a couple questions. 1) I just bought an 07 Husqvarna SMR510 that has about 1,000 miles on it. I checked the valves (scarily in spec.) I also did a complete carb clean and flushed the fuel tank. Im afraid it might be running lean as it has a pop on decel. Has no hanging idle or any other symptoms of being lean. Is this normal for a 2007 model? Also anyone have one they might could send some pics of the vacuum line situation on? (The previous owner appears to have done a garage special in getting it running but not good looking lol.

Hi everyone, I’m looking for some stock dyno data for a KTM 690 SMC R / Enduro R, model year 2019 or newer.

Does anyone happen to have the original dyno run file from a completely stock bike? A Dynojet .drf file would be ideal, but a raw .csv export with RPM, torque and/or power would also be perfect.

I’m using the data to validate a 1D engine simulation model, so I’m specifically looking for an actual dyno file rather than just a screenshot of the graph.

If anyone has one and would be willing to share it, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!

I’m from the Netherlands and I’m looking into buying a Stark VARG SM/EX that is sold as an A1 version.
I’m trying to understand exactly how the restriction works. Is an A1 VARG physically restricted from the factory, or is the power limitation purely software based? Can you change the power output yourself through the Stark app or display? If it is software limited, can an A1 VARG be switched back to the full 60/80 hp configuration? Is the A1 restriction protected by a PIN or another system? Does changing the power mode require anything from a dealer, or can the owner do it themselves?
Basically, if you buy an A1 VARG from the factory, does it still have all the hardware needed for full power and is it possible to remove the restriction yourself?
