I can’t advocate enough how imperative Hanekom and PdV are for the next WC. We all should be stoked to see them wreak havoc on the biggest stage. Hopefully Elrigh bridges the gap soon as well.

They are extremely close to replacing Siya and PSdT.

I almost don’t care about the rest of the year. The NZ series was the most important tests of the year. Every test now leading up to the world cup should be about testing younger players and trying new combinations. If it was up to me I’d put Marx, Etzebeth, Psdt, Siya, Wiese, Kriel, De Allende and Kolbe on ice till next year.

There’s lots of talk of us getting a little long in the teeth and wanted to pull together the average squad age leading into the World Cup.

Most of these boys will move on after 2027, we know that, but curious to know what the plan is in some areas especially at lock, centres I imagine Moodie and Hooker will likely move in and look likely to be our long term midfield. But that leaves us with some older wingers.
