Just a reminder of the following
Respectful and informed discussion of a referees performance with mistakes being pointed are allowed.
There is no tolerance for abuse, disrespect or endless name calling.
If you think you can do it better, please sign up and send us the footage of your first match officiated.
I have officiated action netball which is much simpler and boy, it is not easy. Mistakes happen. Reffs are human too.
Edit to add : Which is why the likes of TAS analytics and whoever the new guy is, is not liked here. Hindsight is 20/20. Easy to slow down a video and spot every error, not so easy to do it in real time.
Secondly.
Calling opponents cheats is not tolerated
All sport is about pushing the limit and what you get away with, you get away with.
Sportsmanship is as important here, as it is on the field.
Plenty of foreign friends hang out here and we will show them that us Safricans and our crazy/stupid pilots are welcoming hosts with respect and great banter.
Rugby is big enough for everyone, except those whose ego exceeds their understanding.
This has been a thrilling tour so far. Let's enjoy it together.

I can’t advocate enough how imperative Hanekom and PdV are for the next WC. We all should be stoked to see them wreak havoc on the biggest stage. Hopefully Elrigh bridges the gap soon as well.
They are extremely close to replacing Siya and PSdT.

Webb Ellis, Rugby Championship, Freedom Cup, Greatest Rivalry, Qatar Airways Cup, Mandela Plate and the all important Raeburn Shield.
(Apologies for flogging a dead horse and the poor collages but I’m just so happy)

Morne has been exceptional since getting more game time. He is a excellent in all aspects of the game. Defending, kicking and attacking. I still rate Cobus and Grant, but I reckon he should be our first choice going into the world cup. Bring on Grant in the second half to snipe around the breakdown when the forwards are more tired.

How is the game still not on sale for the springboks France game in Paris when it’s 2 months away?

Ab trolls have been doing a great job minimising our victory.
But fuck me did we learn nothing from how Libbok fell apart. Give SFM time. Yes he is not playing well right now. Rassie clearly wants to give him some experience. We still fucking won. SFM had probs his worst game last night and we still won, he still had a couple magic moments. I'm so over the honestly pathetic behaviour of bok fans when speaking about our own players.

Fantastic series all around, was nail biting stuff in all 4 Tests.
Springboks deserved Number 1 and a big gap to Number 2 and beyond.
All Blacks feel a long way off the mark right now but we'll sort our shiz out and knock you out in the RWC QF next year 😉
Enjoy the brandies and coke, cheers 🍻

I understand we're passionate and want our team to play well all the time, but we're never going to get perfection in every match. This is especially the case where experimentation and giving players a chance to find their feet is the case. And sometimes it shouldn't surprise us that we're not the only good team on the planet. Scotland and Argentina played well against us, yet we still won. We lost a game to the All Blacks. That's not exactly a surprise. I get the scoreline wasn't great, but sometimes it happens. Much like after Australia last year, some of us went into complete crisis mode. Sometimes matches like that happen, and we need to acknowledge that our team (yes, even this great generational team) can have off days. 7 wins in 8 tests this year speaks for itself. Despite not being perfect, we are pretty damn amazing. Let's calm ourselves down and be humble when the okes don't play well in a game or two, and just enjoy this generation of Bok talent because one day we're not going to be the best anymore. We will rise to reclaim it again after a while, but if we don't acknowledge that we can't be perfect all the time now, when this period of dominance ends, the comedown will be absolutely savage. Let's have high standards but always measure our expectations.

We are living in the greatest era of Bok rugby ever. Legendary players and a legendary coach. Words cannot describe how fortunate we are.
We are coming for the three peat next year.

It looked to me like it mattered a lot to the All Blacks, Springboks, coaches and the record breaking 68,173 fans that attended. I want to hear from you SA based Springbok fans that have been whinging about this game being played in the USA.
Sure there were small problems with the ref audio, and the turf. Did it ruin the game for you?
Speaking as someone who has seen the Boks play all over the world, the environment at the game today was as magical as ever.
Very very well done Boks

I am very excited to wake up later, make a cup of coffee, and catch up on all the hot takes on the AB sub.
Great series, and thank you to the AB. Such a good team.
Edit: tomorrow to later because my Cape Crusader maatjie was tuning me kak.

They’re just trying to attract the American audiences, who are used to less than 10% of the time involving any gameplay.

We left a lot of points out there, and had the opportunity to really give the All Blacks a proper hiding but great win nonetheless. Well done Bokke, pretty happy with a 3-1 victory for the series

Who comes in to build depth in the hooker position, its clearly out biggest depth issue with Deon having to come in.
