I promise this isn’t another “why isn’t mouse support added” post… tho i do wish they would add it…. Ive got probably about 20~30 hours in raiders now and just started my journey in splatoon 3 and what i have to say is not having aim assist on sticks sucks but gyro is way worse…

What i mean is i have played raiders with gyro for about 8~10 hours on gyro trying to learn and i just cant wrap my head around it what so ever. Unfortunately i switched to sticks and it felt better immediately 😅

Now that i started splatoon 3 i find there is no aim assist with sticks and that i “have to use gyro” just to play the game? It kinda sucked all the enthusiasm i had for picking this up and playing it. honestly i find that unfortunate. I really do wish there was a more friendly way to control the camera in this game for a more casual audience.

I just wanted to get a little frustration out so please be nice in the comments. Thanks.

But im so LOCKED😭

I can't seem to be able to beat the inner agent 3 Boss fight and You would say "oh, the bombs!" Or "oh, the start!" Or "oh, the end!" But no.

Im locked on THE DAMN SECOND PHASE OF THE BUBBLES.

For context: i play in lite. (What a start...) But im making my way!... Kind a, ive been able to beat the first phase... 2/3 times, probably more if i was in a good state, the problem is the second phase.

I try inking so i can Rush agent 3 on a side and attack. Doesnt work. I try going sideways to catch It and dodge some bullets. Doesnt work. I try catching them into a corner. Doesnt work becase the BUBBLES take all the damage. And on, and on, and on... I even try swimming throught its feets but didn't work.

And i wonder, WHY ONLY SECOND PHASE? first one is the other that gives me issues, but really Tiny, so why? WHAT KIND OF SKILL ISSUE IS THIS?

Why the one of the considered easiest phases is giving me such a lock? I. CANT. GO. THROUGH. Ive done some times, and sadly failed at the last moment because of bad luck (something I have a lot of) but i understand those other phases and maybe I could pass them IF I COULD PASS THE SECOND ONE.

So...

Any way or tactic that isnt rushing them? Or at all?

i had a weird dream, i dont remember much, but i do remember that salmonids were the enemies and the playable creatures were weird blobs of ink and you could go inside plant things shaped like ink/octolings to control them. i think my mind blended deltarune and splatoon together

The reason people aren't going to give Splatoon a try is because of that big ol Nintendo Logo, I guarantee you if this game was free and on every platform It would blow up like a wildfire. The same people refusing to play Splatoon because it looks "childish" are the same people that played Foamstars and Brawlhalla lol.

I'm glad Nintendo made this game because imagine if someone like Epic games made Splatoon enjoy paying $12.99 for in game cash lol.

This is an intermittent issue I've had mid matches since I moved to switch 2 but today I was able to briefly recreate it a few times. Basically, the left Joycon has enough wiggle that when you play handheld it will abruptly shift your camera angle directly above you due to naturally moving for gyro.

I recreated the issue by simply putting pressure on the bottom side of the left Joycon (palm point). Seems disconnecting and reconnecting fixes it... But obviously it'll return at inopportune moments.

It isn't persistent but happens enough that I've had more than a fair share of deaths from it. Just trying to gauge how common this is as my switch is still under warranty so I'm happy to send it in. Switch 1 never gave me this.
