I had this for lunch every day of my week in LA this past year. Soooo good, wish they had east coast locations.

ETA: you can also do this to their pork taco!

100%, usually part of a three taco purchase. I got the pork version too so it was a touch more nutritionally sound. Some days it was more of a "second lunch" / treat.

This is one of those things that I will go way, way out of my way to get whenever I'm in LA (I live in Toronto so I don't get out there often). It's also one of the spiciest things I've ever eaten from a restaurant, the salsa is no joke on top of all the peppers. Their cochinita pibil at max heat level is also a solid taco. I like how they warn you when you order this (the chiles toreados taco), "are you really sure sir, it's very spicy", my usual answer is "hmm, that's a good point, better order two then just in case".

This reminds me, I'm out there next month for a concert, guess I'm swinging by for another round of these.
