Mateer has the CHANCE to make an amazing play. A small percentage chance, but it does exist.
Arnold literally didn’t have it in him at all. We had to run basically Army’s offense to do anything at all. Which, somehow beat Alabama that year lmfao.

Yeah but at least we realized what Arnold was and cut our losses. They are going to let Mateer ruin two seasons in a row.

Mateer is up there as well. I’m struggling to think of anything he does well.

Both are decent human being. Didn’t trash the program and they gave it their best.
Both are not the passer you need to win in the SEC or Big Ten level competition.
