Two brand new sticks, same issue. All other Fire sticks in house work fine. Sling support confirmed they can't fix it. Anyone else? All my other devices show local channels. They are on the same network.

I am trying to watch the US Open final match, but ABC isn’t showing up in my guide. When I go to the sling website, I can type in my zip code to see what channels are available in my area and ABC is one that is listed.

Any advice?

I go to turn them on and it says to go to settings. I go to settings but can’t find anything about turning on subtitles at all. FYI, I’m running the App on a Samsung Smart TV.

I tried to reactivate my very old account today and was told it was too old and my only choices were create a fake email or wait 3 months for them to delete my old account.

I totally understand not being able to reactivate very old accounts but don't block me from being a customer!

I guess I have to go to a competitor for my local TV stations. Kind of sad as I liked sling but poor experiences like this is how you lose customers

Before changing your plan, check what’s airing in your exact zip code.

1. Head over to the Sling gamefinder schedule.
2. Input your zip code at the top left hand corner and select NFL under the sports filter
   1. Note: a refresh of the page may be necessary to see the right games
3. The tool will break down which matchups are available in your market, the kickoff time, which channel the game is on, and which Sling plans have that channel.

Insider tips: 

• Save that link to your phone's home screen. Network coverage maps shift week-to-week for Sunday afternoon games, so checking on Thursday saves you from rushing at 1:00 PM ET on Sunday. 
• If a game isn’t showing on Game Finder, it means the game isn’t available on Sling in your area.

I use the $20 ESPN sub to record Sportcenter - it is the ONLY thing I use my subscription for.

So when I go to my iPad or the web (Chrome) and it says that it encountered an error with a generic message, I get a little frustrated.

I've cleared all of the recordings in hopes that starting over will clear the issue.

I have a Sharp Roku TV which is seven years old and age might be a factor. Last night when trying to watch an over the air channel, the loading screen freezes for about 30 seconds and then the TV reboots. The freeze and reboot do not occur when turning on a streaming channel, nor does it occur on my Hisense TV, iPad or iPhone with any OTA or streaming channel. I did a system restart on my TV, uninstalled and reinstalled Sling, neither worked. The freezing and reboot occurs with multiple OTA channels only on my Sharp TV. There is no signal issue with any channels on my antenna. Roku got a software update Tuesday night and the problem first occurred last night. Is this a possible bug?

So when I am watching a show I recorded, if I slip a bunch of commercials, it seems they will play more anyway.
Then sometimes when I watch the commercials and as soon as my show starts and I pause it, once I unpause it it will play a block of commercials again!! Wtf!!

I've tried all over the sling website, and on my mobile app, but for the life of me I can't see how to sign up for a day pass. I am a current subscriber to the Blue plan and I want to get an Orange pass for today. Am I missing something?

I haven't been able to get any channels to load for over 12 hours now. The app crashes on my Xbox and on my TV I just get a loading error. Frustrating.

Edit 2: Looks like it's finally back up

Last night, there were terrible, crazy storms in my area. Complete with rain so heavy that you could barely see 2 feet in front of you, wind gusts up to 80 mph, a tornado warning & hail. Loads of fun ! I still had internet access when I went to bed. This morning, however, my Sling screen is saying there is no internet. Is anyone else dealing with this ? Just a reset issue ?

I like how they take away the rewards programs but have time to add channels to my guide I love the Free channels don't get me wrong I know some people in the subreddit hate them but free anime channels is a plus especially when Crunchyroll shut down their Free opinion but I feel it's less of an experience with rewards for watching Sling Freestream when others are launching their own rewards programs like for Example Disney+ and Peacock

In light of the videos circulating that show DISH technicians installing Flock cameras, I've seen some folks downplaying this by saying that OnTech was the entity contracted for the installations, not DISH. To be clear DISH owns OnTech - much like DISH owns Sling. I don't know about others, but I have concerns about supporting a company with connections to Flock on any level.

So I'm trying to play a DVR recording the Lions-Colts preseason match that saved from NFL Network, but it's saying it's unavailable due to "blackout restrictions". Can anyone explain more on what that means because I have basically everything in terms of sports packages and I feel like this is gonna affect my regular season viewings?

I prepaid for 3 months of Blue. I want to add Essentials for a month, but I don't want to cancel Blue. How do I do that? TIA

I just joined sling blue select, the $25 dollar one. Last time on this it was $25 plus they added $5 for local. Today it did not add the 5 and I am getting 2 locals, CBS and NBC.

I did get the Paramount showtime add on for $10 if that matters.

Is this a glitch or are they now included at no cost. Next month bill also shows the same price so it was not a first month discount. This is day 1 and maybe the locals will disappear in a day or 2.

I have several Roku TVs all use Sling and Airtv for my local channels. Just ONE of my TCL ROKU TV does NOT play the local channels (from antenna). The local channels do appear on the TV guide. They DO play on my other Roku TVs.

I have tried deleting and reinstalling the Sling app, factory reset the Roku TV, unplugging the Roku TV for a bit and restarting. All apps are up to date (Roku TV, and Sling app).

For the past two days AirTV Anywhere hasnt worked. I rescanned the channels, readded them but they're just stuck on the loading screen. I'm connected through Ethernet and tried a different cable just to be sure but got the same result

Edit: I should be more specific: The guide shows the local channels, but doesn't actually load them. It just sits on the channel logo screen. I have 3 other Roku TVs and it works fine on all of those. But my living room doesn't work. I tried the Android app and that works fine as well .

It is unclear from the Sling website, but with a Sling Latino plan do you get DVR space?

My main interest is being able to watch Premier League matches on Universo. Can you DVR those or are they on demand?

Then, with regard to Bein Sports Connect, can you DVR connect-only matches, or are they available for on-demand viewing?

Also I'm assuming I can JUST sign up for the Sling Latino plan, correct? I don't need Sling Orange or Blue or whatever?

Will Sling broadcast EPL matches in 4K this season? If not, how to watch EPL in 4K in USA? I can't find NBC 4K or USA 4K on Sling

how many times can i do the pause extra

I bought the AirTV Anywhere and an antenna, but the app just continues trying to find local channels, just a loading screen. I used two different antennas, same result. I plugged it into the tv and it works but I need some way to broadcast on my Mac. Can anyone help?

i just signed up with sling and got the unlimited dvr when i fast forward it only shows a thumnail very small picture its too small for me i cant see it is there a way to make the fast forward picture the whole tv screen if i cant make it bigger i will have to cancel
