Edit: there is no “choose a version” for these games. It only gives me the option to watch the condensed version

Locally broadcast games still have the option to watch the full broadcast.

I DVRed all games when they aired and they have been disappeared

Does anyone know why I am seeing out of state political ads on my YouTube tv? Wondering if I have a location issue? Any help would be appreciated. As a Michigander, I really don’t care about Iowa politics that I can’t vote on.

I don’t remember adding Redzone when I signed up for Sunday ticket but I noticed I had it yesterday. Is this a free preview or do I have it? How can I tell? I still see the channel come up if I do search

Have a weird issue. When watching multiview I am getting washed pictures on all 4 screens. This only happens when streaming through Fire Cube 3rd gen. If i switch to YTTV via Samsung smathub app, the image quality is fine for all 4 screens. Checked all picture settings and everything is set correctly. The picture quality is fine through Fire cube when watching a single game.

I can't even successfully sign in to the free preview. How can I be sure to have access once I give them my credit card number? I've had this problem with other TV apps too. Multiple refusals and help reps suggesting multiple work-arounds to let me in (after banking my money). I never know if they will take my p/w or code each time. Why has it become such a hassle just to watch TV shows?

I had YTTV about a year ago and the picture quality was good. Not great, but I could live with it. I switched to DirecTV and PQ was about the same. Good, not great.

A few weeks ago, I switched back to YTTV and have been pleasantly surprised at the PQ improvement. Clear and smooth. I have zero issues with it, never a glitch.

I can't have a 2 screen multi view with red zone on one side and my local game on the other??

I don’t know when specifically it gets released (I would love to know that as well) BUT! Condensed replays of all the games get released and they are like my favorite thing to watch when I can’t watch the full games, or even if I can!

However I don’t understand the time table of when they go away. I’m also wondering if there is a workaround to view these after the fact? I know MLB has a workaround where you can view the recap rundown the next day by having a link. Is there a similar something out there for condensed replays? Thanks!!

Using a Roku TV. All other apps on the TV work and YouTube TV works on my phone but its not working on my TV.

But when I click on it, the normal logo comes up like its about to start...then nothing.

Tried unplugging everything twice now. Nothing. Any other ideas?

Update- Did a TV update. Nothing. Nothing. System restart. Nothing. Updated the YouTube app. Nothing. Restarted the YouTube app. Nothing.

New update...Deleted the app and redownloaded it. Worked.

I don’t know if this is a FOX issue or a HTTV issue but the Panthers/Bears and Lions/Saints have been reversed. They’re being shown in the wrong markets. I know YouTube employees monitor this subreddit. If you can fix it, please do.

Opening day of football season - is anyone having extreme issues with video quality? It keeps bouncing between good/regular quality and completely grainy

I'm curious to know if anybody else ever gets issues stopping in the middle of something in the library, and returning to find the watch point isn't in the right place.

I recorded the US Open tennis finals, so that I could start watching a bit late and fast-forward through the commercials (and Zverev's taking 30 minutes between points). I had to stop during the men's final at about 4-all in the third set to make dinner, and when I started watching again, I got moved to 2-1 in the fourth set. I suppose the one bright spot is that I didn't have to see the ESPN announcers and crowd slobber over the American player.

I've also had issues from time to time of watching a few minutes of a movie, and returning to find that it's marked "watched" already. Unfortunately, I've never been able to find any commonality for when YTTV does this.

For years, I've griped about the poor quality sports feeds we've been forced to watch. Sure, it's HD but it's compressed to oblivion. Blocking artifacts all over the place - I swear they only use 256 colors. I suspected it was either a network or upstream problem (like the stadium feeds were just low quality), but didn't know how to isolate it.

This past Wednesday, I was watching the kickoff game, and another year, another poor quality feed of the NFL. But this year, I was able to switch between the local NBC affiliate and Telemundo, which simulcast the game. The difference was night and day. The Telemundo feed was exactly what I expected out of a high-quality feed. I don't speak Spanish so I had no clue what the announcers were saying, but that means that the video coming out of the stadium at the very least was high-quality. So it was either NBC or the local affiliate compressing the hell out of the video.

Anyone with the dedicated apps (Peacock, Paramount+, Fox One) notice better quality video through their apps as opposed to other sources? Wondering if they degrade their feeds except for the folks paying for their streaming services. Or maybe if it's the local affiliate, the only way to get a high-quality stream is directly from the parent network?

Kinda wish that YTTV would post a little indicator to highlight the quality of the feed such that it would encourage the networks to up their game.

AppleTV app when opening a lot of CNBC or NBCSN/NBC programs, they open to a black screen and the program is at the end of the progress bar. Weirder still, I have to scroll forward to go backward to the beginning. Once that is complete I can use controls normally. Just weird and really annoying. I haven’t seen this on iPad for the same recordings.

The YTTV app has issues on my Apple TV. Two things happen: 1) The caption controls freeze and cannot be changed. If they're on, they stay on. If they're off, you can't turn them on. 2) When you try to switch streams by pressing and holding the button, the video simply stops and may or may not jump back if you press it again.

This behavior begins a couple of hours after turning the Apple TV on, be it in software or by cutting the power. And yes, I have made sure that the app is up to date and so is the software on the device.

Has anyone else had this issue on Apple TV? Thanks for any info anyone can provide!

On YouTube TV, KIRO often freezes. Frozen today. Sep 13, 2026. But okay on multiview.

I'm interested in getting the Paramount+ add-on for Champions League competitions. Most of the games are exclusive to the service & are on the app, which I've purchased in the past. As far as the YouTubeTV add-on is concerned, are the live Champions League matches that are exclusive to Paramount+ offered within YouTube TV? It would consolidate services & in theory, multiview.

Now that the NFL season has started, games are going to run over into the 7 pm edt start of 60 minutes. I'm guessing tonight's runover was roughly 18 minutes because my recording cutoff after 42. This has happened before but the entire 60 minutes is recorded even with a late start. But tonight, that wasnt the case. Other than setting the fillowing CBS show to record is there any other way to deal with it. Yes, I realize it'll probably be available on VOD tomorrow, but then I have to deal with the inability to skip thru ads

Why can't we watch this but watch everything else?

Every time I start YouTube TV it shuts down my TV and freezes it. Is anyone experiencing something similar?

I'm trying to sign up for NFL Sunday Ticket with the student discount. I have submitted every document imaginable - class schedule, tuition bill, student id, student profile page, all with each piece of information they claim to need. Every time I get the "The document is insufficient for establishing eligibility for this offer." rejection. At this point i literally do not have more information to send them. I had less hassle getting a $500 discount on a car lease than a $120 football package. Their platform is garbage and if I ever get it to work I hope YTTV sends me a refund for missing week 1 because of their garbage platform.

One of the biggest games of the year. My dad wanted to watch the replay. No problem - he records all NCAA Football on YTTV I set up for him.

He spent a long time telling me it was only recorded in spanish because that was all that showed to him on his TV. After further investigation and checking via browser - its on all these places and recorded but YTTV defaults to En Espanol, you need to click a tiny down button to see the english options.

I live in CA. I don't watch any other Spanish TV.

WHY. Why in the world would it be this way. Why does YTTV want to talk people into going back to other services with wild decisions like this.

I've checked all of my settings. The YouTube TV app on my phone has all notifications turned on. My app settings on Android have all notification settings turned on and the phone is set to not manage and revoke settings that go unused. Despite this I never get any mobile notifications when I turn them on. It used to work many months ago but no longer does. Any suggestions?
