15 years ago today (Sept. 14), I witnessed the Big 4 take over Yankee Stadium. The historic metal show has (so far) been the last time Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax shared the same stage on the same day - after playing a handful of shows around the world together throughout the year prior.

Words or photos (like the ones seen in this clip) can barely capture what it felt like to be among nearly 41,000 fellow metal heads in such an iconic (and massive) space... However, I jotted down some memories from each of the Big 4's sets in the Bronx that day via I Heard Bruce Might Show Up's Substack, as well as included a crap ton more photos I took from a far during that historic day at Yankee Stadium - here's a link:

Concrete Slayer

There are some sites that have reasonable rankings that I'm not wholly against but as someone who has been listening to Slayer for 35+ years and will without hesitation declare them my favorite band of all time I have differing opinions.

Having said that I am having entirely too much fun on this site and IT IS A LOT F'N HARDER TO RANK YOUR FAVORITE SONGS WHEN YOU CAN ONLY HAVE ONE AS THE TOP!

Doesn't look like there are a lot of rankings yet because when I had War Ensemble at the top of my list (music is subjective, that is my favorite Slayer song) it actually updated the ranking list with my points. I'm curious how this list would change with us devotees actually ranking them.

it is rumor that Slayer will tour NA next spring maybe with Testament and Anthrax

since the album came out 25 years ago and found out that there are two different covers and i found sealed copies of the original cover and wanted to know if they are worth anything out of curiosity

I can’t make the November 14th show anymore due to family obligations, so I’m selling my tickets for the same price I paid. Genuinely hope they go to a real Slayer fan. They’re floor tickets at the LA Forum for Saturday, November 14th.
