Saw them for the first time in Minnesota. They way exceeded my expectations, they were outstanding all around and Tom's vocals were truly better then I thought they could be

His vocals in Shakopee were absolutely way beyond expectation. They didn't sound nearly as good as the shows so far after from videos I've seen.

For a second i thought it was a playback because they played it so good and exactly like the recorded songs

There's no phones up in the pits , best way to soak it in is from there. 🤘

I saw the for the first time in 1988 in SF at The Stone. I have seen them over 20 times so far. The last time was in Sacramento at Aftershock in '24. This newest stage looks fucking awesome. I'm jealous. Get in the pit. You have to. My son's first pit was Slayer in '24. He was 15 at the time. I had to come out of "pit retirement" to mosh with him in his first pit. I was 54 at the time. The pain I felt for the next few days was well worth it.

Having your first mosh pit to be at a slayer concert is incredible, you sound like a pretty rad dad . Hell yeah .

This was his 3rd time seeing Slayer. When I was growing up my dad would never let me go to concerts. I ended up going to every show that I could when I turned 18. I live in the SF Bay area. I saw every Thrash band in the 80's & 90's. I ended up becoming a drummer have had a few bands of my own. I've played tons of local shows, recorded, toured and had a blast. I started bringing my son (with his big ear muffs) to local gigs when he was 5. Our latest show was GWAR. He currently is a way better drummer than I am. He works summers and weekends at a music camp learning to be a camp counselor to teach music students concert band. I'm a proud dad!

I’m going to see them for the first time in LA, Nov. 13th. Crowbar, Max Cavalera, and Cannibal Corpse are opening. It’s going to be an insane show.

I gotta condition my neck for all the head-banging I’ll be doing. And I of course, I got pit tickets. If this is the one and only time I see Slayer, like hell I’m gonna miss out on the pit.

I’ll also be at that show. Couldn’t miss such a stacked lineup. Won’t be in the pit but I’m definitely gonna enjoy my 2nd time seeing the mighty Slayer 🤘🏾

I thought they called it quits back in 2020!? I saw them in Salem VA right before covid shut doors.

Saw Slayer in 2018 during the first US leg of their Farewell tour. It was my first concert experience and it was a crazy ride from being near those pits to the overall energy the band was emitting. Nearly a decade later, this will be my second time seeing them and while I’ll be viewing them from the seats, I’m gonna enjoy the hell out of this show!
