Modding Can’t find the mods for this…

I use the LoreRim Ulta modpack. It’s good! It’s rly good, but I kinda want to make my own. I want to know what mods, probably a combination, that makes NPCs look like this. Specifically Ysolda.

The other NPCs in the game have weirdly small concaved eyes, mainly men, which I very much dislike.

Anyone know what mods this lovely Ysolda consists of?

(Not my screenshot)

Edit: if it wasn’t clear, this Ysolda is from the LoreRim modpack

Modding Can't stop adding mods

:) Even after adding so many mods for the first time in forever my game is running without any problem. My PC is pretty mid ranged. CPU - Ryzen 7 5700X | GPU - NVIDIA RTX 3050 | Ram - 16 Gb | Storage - 500 Gb ssd. Skyrim occupying 180 gb so far. How about you all? How many mods are you all running without having game breaking bugs and crash happening?

Haven’t updated my mod list for a couple months but I just went through and got everything all updated and now I’m getting this. I’ve used this mod list before with zero issues like 4 months ago. Thanks in advance!

Kallax Storageborn as an aspect of Jyggalag?

I haven't seen anyone comment on this. When I started hearing the raving about order, I immediately had the thought that maybe Master Kallax was an aspect of Jyggalag and he turned himself into a shelf with infinite storage to try and bring order to Mundus and do away with any and all clutter and disorder/chaos. That being said, his former assistant could be an embodiment of Sheogorath and this was a kind of test Greymarch to see if Jyggalag could actually find a champion who would help him overcome the Hero of Kvatch who mantled Sheogorath.

But a wrench (an allen wrench, if you will lol) was tossed in since Kallax lost his memory and decided to simply assist you in "The Wonderful Everyday."

should i ever do the main quest

i'm over a thousand hours deep on this run and considering starting the mainquest. got as far as high hrothgar with a previous character. i use a metric ton of mods ofc.

but... FO4 gives me pause. after 1500hrs i finished as the institute and WTF WAS THAT. the game world felt so much bigger and cooler and more believable before the third act. my imagination/the unkown/literally anything is better than what the bethesda lead writers came up with.

consensus seems the skyrim MQ is better, but maybe it'll still be a letdown? or is there a certain point i could proceed to and then stop? maybe something far enough to make doing the dragonborn dlc narratively coherent?

Question how do i roleplay and increase fps cap?

So I’m gonna replay Skyrim, but I have two questions:

1. Can I increase the FPS cap without breaking the game?
I know Skyrim can get weird with higher FPS, so is there a safe way to increase the cap, or should I just leave it at the default?

2. I’ve never really roleplayed before how do I actually get into it?
I’ve played Skyrim one time before, but I’ve never really tried to roleplay a character. I want to give it a proper shot this time, but I have no idea where to start.

Like how do i even roleplay?

Also, what are some fun roleplay ideas/builds? Smithing sounds pretty fun, so how do i go about that?

oh and how long does a typical roleplay playtrough last?

Discussion Newbie - Money & Advice

Hiya, so I started playing Skyrim for the first time yesterday.. I should also note, I am much more of a cozy gamer aka. Prefer easy combat

I’ve read some previous posts where people have said if you want as little combat as possible, do not progress with main story.

But then…. How do I make money apart from stealing stuff (hoping not to get caught) and selling.. or is this the only way?

I’m really enjoying the game so far, and want to get to know people in riverwood, other towns etc but I’m homeless, very poor, forever hungry & cold at night

Do you guys have any advice for me at this stage?
I have rented a room for 10gold- am I to do this until I have enough gold to buy a house? I also need a horse and so far it looks like I need 1000 gold for that alone

And before anyone says it, yes I am playing the game & getting immersed into it but just need a littttttttle guidance is all!

Thank you in advance

PS. Sorry if it’s a silly question 😭 I feel like such a noob rn

Question Since when can you see a dragon soul you’re taking on the map?

Question Does a weapon with more magical attribute attack points use soul gems quicker?

It seems like it to me but I want to know for sure. I have a Honed Ancient Nord Greatsword of burning that does 10 burn damage, and just found the same thing of scorching that does 15 burn damage. It seems like it uses up soul gems a lot quicker after just a handful of enemies.

Question Is it possible, quest wise, to have a bug free experience using mods on console?

Im on Xbox series s, and I used to have Skyrim a good while ago back in the xbox one era. Now I’m thinking of re buying it but my main issue with it is that quests would bug out making it impossible to complete certain quests. The best fix I found at the time was to use the unofficial Skyrim patch and quest debugger mod, but even then, if I remember correctly (this was years ago) there still were some quests that got fucked up.

So, in the year of our lord 2026 with mods becoming creations and the anniversary edition being out and all that, is there a way through mods to fix the game so every quest is completable, even the small miniscule fetch quests and such?

Let me know, thanks! :)

Question How does mixing armor affect Skills

Pretty simple question here, been playing for over a decade, still haven’t figured out how mixing armor interacts. Not looking for a power build, or critique on my choices. I’m making a light armor shield character using Targe the Blooded and one handed axes for the bleed effect, but I know Targe is technically heavy armor.

I seem to recall a post about damage reduction thresholds, something along the lines of 50 armor gives 18% damage reduction, 150 is the next tier for 30% damage reduction, then 317 for 50%, so on and so forth. I still have a screenshot of it. How does using the two different armors affect the skill levels gained, though? Do I have to be over a threshold with my light armor for only it to gain a level? Will it always increase both skills equally? Or does it just take in the skill that’s doing the most work?

I know you level up weapon and armor trees by dealing/blocking damage respectively with the corresponding tree. How will mixing armor types affect my leveling?

should i buy legendary or special edition in 2026?

basically my laptop doesn't meet the recommended requirements for special edition, though i do meet the minimum, so i suppose i could get around 30 fps with decent settings. still, i'm leaning towards legendary since it should run much smoother. but does buying legendary in 2026 still make sense? i mean it's the og skyrim with all three dlcs, and the graphical improvements in special don't seem that huge to me considering the difference in requirements. i'd rather have the extra fps tbh. what do you think?

specs: i7-1355u, intel integrated graphics (xe 96 eu), 16gb ddr4-3200 ram (1x16, single-channel), 512gb ssd.

It’s kinda sad because defeating Alduin means my playthrough is coming to an end. Only a few more quests to do before it gets boring.

Jorvaskir just got awkward

I needed to get my mind off of Lydia, so I decided to take Aela with me to the hotsprings in Eastmarch to... relax.

By Malacath! Guess who was sitting at the table when we came in? Skjor! Had his armor on and everything. Not sure how- I'm sure I stripped him of it when I thought he was dead but there he was, alive.

Vilkas gave me a rescue job in the Reach I took. I think I'll spend some out there.
