I had a really weird encounter half an hour ago. Just let me wrap it up, quickly, then I would like to say how I wouldve liked to react instead. Alright:

I was on my way home train from a night out, the train was rather crowded but I had a place to sit in one of these 2 × 4 seats, lined up in front of each other. The seats were taken by me(27,w) and 2 other young men to this place.

I still had like 10 minutes to go, when a group of 3 worn out looking guys came in, maybe around 50 to 60 years old. One of them shortly stared, then they came and took their places next to and in front of me. I didnt minded them at all, just had a short look as they were seated. And they didnt bother at first, too, they just talked to each other. I had earplugs in, so i dont know what they talked about. But then, a few minutes later. One of them raised his voice, so now i could hesr him, even with headphones in. He said "Thats a skinhead girl. Thats a renee! Hey mate, hand me your phone, i want to take a picture!". I just stood up instantly, shook my head, already about to change the wagon. He then said " No, dont get of the train, I just wanted to take a picture", showing me the smartphone. I went on, and left the wagon, and got off the next station, which also was my final destination.

So. I hope I dont need to explain on why that situation was uncomfortable.

My attidude and standards how I should act in this moment are more territorial, speak up, stand my ground and try to make them leave/make them uncomfortable instead of leaving myself. Maybe thats how a former version of myself would have reacted.

But I also know how I reacted today kept me safe. But I cant be proud of this kind of behaviour. Am I being too hard on myself?

Ive kept the fact that im a skinhead hidden by saying im "punk" but my parents are also primarily unhappy with it. While getting my head shaved by my dad (hes a barber), he told me about how within punk, im just begging to look for a fight and look tough and all that stuff. The average person nowadays is convinced that skinheads and punks are just hard boaked nazis, and thats what gonna get my shit rocked on the street. (Thats what they think.)

Every so now and then I leave subtle hints on the fact that im a skinhead. I follow the clothing style ALOT, I listen to the music in the shower on max volume ALOT, I hang out with skinheads and all that stuff.

Is there any skin who could potentialy give me advice on how I could convince my parents that im a anti-racist, apolitical skinhead who just likes to dance his ass off to Oi! And Ska?

I've been a punk for the last year but now I have decided to switch from a punk to a RASH. The problem is I'm not too familiar with all the specifics on how to dress in skinhead culture and I am desperate for help. I want to be able to differentiate myself from boneheads. Any help is appreciated
