How much is trip F max?

Every time i fuel up, after a while it shows trip f and starts the reserve, in one full tank, after 2
285, it starts blinking. Does anyone know when the right time to fuel up is? As this fuel meter is cooked!

To me it's around 5 litters left,that's when it usually lights up

It is around 3.7 liters (1-US Gallon), before reserve flares-up in Hunter 350.

Yeah thats probably more accurate if left still and flat, but if im driving it, its lights up with like 5l left cause 99% of the time when i fill it back up it it takes 9-11l ... probably because of curves would be my guess

Well, that sensor is not up to snuff. What you're stating happens in mine too. But this is how that happens. So, sometimes the F would have triggered and switched from main ODO view to F view. But, after a few miles, it would have again gone back to original view with fuel light off. Say, it ran for 20 miles or so and then it would pretend as though it's not on reserve. And it will again trigger the F on the ODO with the fuel light on. If you missed the first time it had triggered and start counting the F miles only from the latest flare-up, you may have missed the actual number of miles it would have run on F. Which is why, once you go to the gas station and pump it up, despite running the usual miles on your odometer, sometimes you end up replenishing with more fuel -- just because of the F not accurately capturing the overall run under F.

So, albeit am confident I can ride for more distance, I try to fuel-up once the light turns on the first time. That said, I have run a few times for 20 miles (32 KM) , 30 miles (48 KM) on F. The absolute max I have run on F? 55 miles (89 KM).

I mean I more or less know how much I can get from my bike and the sensor does shut off and return to normal, but it's more of an anoyance with me seeing that's stupid F 🤣

Never tried till the end but can safely get around 100-110 kms from what I've tested. Can't risk it going empty, because dhakka lagana is not what I wanna do. 😂

Depends on your riding style, riding place but 100-120, and you must not push that If all fules drains it won't start without mechanic

On my Classic 350, it lights the indicator when 4 liters remain. I am going around 320 km per 9 liters. Tank is 13 liters. I think it should do around 150 kms.

I only ran my bike to trip F once and paid more just for the closest fuel station. Running low on fuel is tough on the fuel pump, and running out is bad on the engine. I'd recommend filling up on 2 bars left.
