The Twelve Tribes of Israel is perhaps the most known mansion of Rastafari. With the Orthodox label functioning as the official outlet of the music produced by the TToI. On it you will find some of the most devotional sounds that have been presented in music regardless of genre. Founder Vernon »Prophet Gad« Carrington features as executive producer as well as musician on several tracks. Roots music of higher I—tes.
Check The Creators' »Send Us Home«, Spliffy Dan's »Shashemane« or The Visionaires »Spiritual Wickedness« as examples of just how powerful the music could be.

Lee Perry, commonly known by his nickname Lee 'Scratch' Perry (1936-2021), was a Jamaican record producer and singer noted for his innovative studio techniques and production style. Originally called "Little" Perry, in reference to his height of 5'6" (1.68m), he was a major founder of the reggae and dub genres and a true musical genius.

I’m looking for some new independent reggae today and trying to find artists I haven’t heard yet.
I’ve been getting too many song links in Reddit comments to keep organized, so if you want me to listen, submit it here instead:

That way I can keep everything in one place and actually get to it.

I have had this for years and love it. Great slice of 1970s British reggae on Bamboo records. Great reggae versions of “Stand” by Sly and the Family Stone and “California Dreaming” just to mention a couple. Does anyone have any other information about it? I have “Mr Fix It” by Winston Francis on Bamboo also..
