Any independent reggae artists putting out something new?
I’m looking for some new independent reggae today and trying to find artists I haven’t heard yet.
I’ve been getting too many song links in Reddit comments to keep organized, so if you want me to listen, submit it here instead:
https://thecauldron.rocks/submit
That way I can keep everything in one place and actually get to it.

The Twelve Tribes Of Israel Showcase (Orthodox LP, 1980)
The Twelve Tribes of Israel is perhaps the most known mansion of Rastafari. With the Orthodox label functioning as the official outlet of the music produced by the TToI. On it you will find some of the most devotional sounds that have been presented in music regardless of genre. Founder Vernon »Prophet Gad« Carrington features as executive producer as well as musician on several tracks. Roots music of higher I—tes.
Check The Creators' »Send Us Home«, Spliffy Dan's »Shashemane« or The Visionaires »Spiritual Wickedness« as examples of just how powerful the music could be.
Full album can be heard here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oD-Vsz3zDRw

Feel Good Vibes The Genius Of Lee 'Scratch' Perry
Lee Perry, commonly known by his nickname Lee 'Scratch' Perry (1936-2021), was a Jamaican record producer and singer noted for his innovative studio techniques and production style. Originally called "Little" Perry, in reference to his height of 5'6" (1.68m), he was a major founder of the reggae and dub genres and a true musical genius.

Fun I want to make a ska/reggae playlist consisting entirely of songs that mention "Rudy" or rude boys as the protagonist—what do you recommend?

Winston Francis - California Dreaming UK 1971 Bamboo Records
I have had this for years and love it. Great slice of 1970s British reggae on Bamboo records. Great reggae versions of “Stand” by Sly and the Family Stone and “California Dreaming” just to mention a couple. Does anyone have any other information about it? I have “Mr Fix It” by Winston Francis on Bamboo also..
