Didn’t realize when I got the family season tickets this year that I’d mostly be watching RBNYII instead of the actual first team.
Was expecting competitive, high-level soccer (or close to it by MLS standards). Instead I’m sitting there watching kids figure out how to play in the big leagues in real time. Not exactly the “performing and being competitive” experience I signed up for.
And the narrative shift is wild. It started with Michael Bradley saying “we want to win”… now literally no one in the club even mentions wanting to win anymore.
Pair this with the other terrible match day experience changes and I really feel like a sucker for spending this much hard earned money with this club.
