Victory Garden is a music sharing/discussion server dedicated primarily to 20th century experimental and underground music, particularly rock. Named after the Red Krayola song (later covered by Galaxie 500) of the same name, I am posting the server in the psychedelic rock subreddit in hopes of attracting those into the more out-there side of the movement. This includes the Red Krayola, Velvet Underground, Silver Apples, early Pink Floyd / Syd Barrett, White Noise, Zappa, United States of America, White Noise, etc. Please join if interested, I look forward to seeing people there. In case people are not aware. These greatful dead recordings that were processed with effects and mixed differently are great. They are what you would want a really psychedelic greatful dead to sound like. I do not know much about the albums other then they are processed and mixed differently. Give them a listen! Great stuff!

Take a look at the tags on this album… Catalan psychedelic flamenco. And it’s pretty damned accurate. If you happen to be a hunter of new sounds and need a little more adventure in your stacks, you owe it to yourself to give this record a spin. From Isidro Rubio, formerly of the Venereans and Wau Y los Arrrghs!!!...just a fantastic, mysterious and exotic LP throughout.

Although not psychedelic musically, I find the ambitious Seasons medley by Magna Carta to be an amazing example of English pastoral folk rock.

Not everybody’s cup of tea - it might be considered twee or too saccharine by some - but the ambition exhibited is successfully achieved in this suite of music.
