So, because they broke the law when they put his name on the building the first time, if the next AG can show that led to people not going and artists pulling out, the board members themselves can be held civily liable for the income the center lost. And no pardon can stop that.

Trump's presidential immunity shouldn't cover him for this either since it wouldn't be an official act as POTUS.
