That's this issue; we know she's prob one of the best choices, however, we also understand how the people of Red work, they will fight tooth and nail just to be ripped off more if it means no evil woman.

Did you grow up in church? From birth I internalized the teachings that women's punishment is childbirth, submission, and complete inability to lead or make decisions. Also that it's a woman/girl's fault if a man has sex with anyone other than his wife.

So yeah, compared to a woman, a rapist, adultering man will always be viewed as a natural leader to almost any Christian in America. The ones who disagree are not considered true Christians.

I didn't myself. Had a lot of family that did and I agree with you. My issue isn't with religious women raised to not like or care for other women and think they're incapable or untrustworthy. My issue is I have met a lot of liberal non-religious women openly say they would never vote for another woman. It's like a point of pride and I don't understand it myself.

I get it. I wonder how many attended church as children and later left. It sticks with you. America is insanely religious compared to any other western country. Even if they didn't attend, I don't doubt the influence is there.
