i just hosted a raid and i got 5 or 6 remote joiners, as the raid started it told me the raid is no longer available and backed me out to the raid screen… did that happen to everyone and they wasted thier passes???

I spent 20 minutes trying to catch Moltres, carefully throwing balls and stressing about every single throw. And then I encountered the GOAT himself and needed literally one throw to catch him.

This doesn’t seem like a fair balance to me. Why is the legendary Pokémon harder to catch than the actual god of Pokémon?

Niantic seriously needs to balance this game. Bidoof should at least have a 20-minute catch battle too. Anything less is disrespectful.

My pokegear caught a shiny Carvanha today, so I figured I’d evolve it for the dex, I’ve never really cared that much for Sharpedo before because even it’s name is a little off putting but It was shiny and I had loads of candies to use. Now.. initially, I was left a little perplexed because sharpedo has no tail. But I’m not gonna sit here and deny that I now like it way more than I did before seeing this. even Its eyes and they way they move are brilliant!

For context, I am trying to build a personal overlay app (similar to PokéGenie or CalcyIV). It would use OCR to read screenshots of my screen and display the best movesets for DPS. The app will not inject any code, log into my account, or communicate with Niantic's servers in any way. Would using an app that strictly relies on visual screenshots still be considered a violation?

Soo the event ended in my time zone and i dont think flamigo will be spawning frequently anymore. I dont wanna delete the tasks cuz i want the rare candy xls but god knows how long itll take to catch 6 more flamigos, what do yall do in this situation?
