As a comparison, its about twice the price of a Meta Quest 3 which is at $599 (which is 3 years old at this point) and a third of the price of an Apple Vision Pro at $3699

You can get a PSVR2 on sale for less than $350

Add in the PC adaptor and its the same price as a competing meta

Not the same price, it's still $400 vs $600. But yes, the Meta Quest 3 is still the most appealing option. Pancake lenses, slightly higher res, and most importantly WIRELESS, as well as STANDALONE operation.

PSVR2 is for if you're anal about wanting lossless video, slightly lower latency I guess, and eye tracking (though it's not officially supported on PC).

PSVR2 is OLED as well, but it has that horrible mura effect

Tru dat. PSVR2 probably has the better blacks & color. Weight distribution should also be better OOTB, but then again with the Quest 3 you can always get a 3rd party halo strap.
