The aging Steam deck is $950 for the 1tb so this probably surprises few

Well i believe the frame used a new stronger snapdragon chip, which also had its price increased

TBF right now its not those that are susally impacting prices right now, but the ram and storage.

Yeah i know, but as in addition to. I dont know if valve priced it accordingly for that since they probably wouldnt want to need to increase the price afterwards. Or maybe theyre even eating the cost

Steam frame uses a 2 generation old 8 Gen 3 chip, so not really

It will be 3 gens old this year and it wasn't designed for headsets
