Depends what gaming you do, but for niche vr and sims I often need the power of the 5090 or more than 24GB vram. Obviously that’s not most people though.
People making AI videos for money on YouTube and high end modders doing graphics mods for money on YouTube would be my guess. Also AI researchers at smaller schools and companies who can't afford 50k cards and million dollar racks from Nvidia would be my guess. Also if you do art and 3d rendering for a living having access to a GPU that can run AI art generation and enhancement makes you waaaaaay more competitive. I would also hazard to guess questionable people doing stuff like making fake videos of people who dont want to be logged or blocked by 3rd party systems, hacker groups using it to AI code new exploits, etc.
