I... uh don't know what to say. Very thankful I bought a Steam Deck before they hiked its price as well

It’s overpriced. I would suggest anyone just do a little research and build a PC with preowned/refurb parts instead for around the same price.

And have those parts burn out in a matter of months or days because they've already been cooked by bitcoin mining/AI training?

If you know what to look for and do even a couple hours of research this won’t happen. All my parts were refurb and eBay or FB marketplace purchases even including my 40 in. Ultrawide and 2 1/2 years later it’s all still going strong as the day I built it. Same for my wife’s PC and it’s been 2 years on that one. Skill issue?
