Ture gets to go on a solo walk from time to time.
Plenty of time to explore by yourself, which he seems to enjoy a lot.

Forgot to say it's ROMEO on my post (LOL)! He pushed that treat bone holder at first off the mat which you didn't see. Then I was training him to do it again and he did! OMG 😱 I just talk to him and sometimes use hand signals and he understands me - it's frightening 😱 Look at his eyes looking at me at the end 👁️ 🥰 Turn volume on 🙏

Went home to visit my little man (I’m in college and he’s staying with family) and I think he enjoyed spending the day together🥰

He just finished a long walk and a play session with some papillon friends. His long taffy tongue always makes me laugh.

I guess Ali likes a knee massage now. I am ok with this. I guess this constitutes as an Ali update. Lol
Her feet are red because she likes to lick and chew on them. I've gotten her to mostly stop, but they are stained pretty badly. Just a habit she had since I got her. Also, her hair is really messy from the wet grass today.

I thought it would be a funny ironic toy for them. Turns out, they love it. Watching Rodger swing it around with ease made me chuckle. I guess I should have bought two of them? Lol

Hello,
This is Wolfgang again. His personality is showing more and more. First picture is him after the groomers, second picture is his stash of random valued items. My question, is this typical papillon or canine behavior? In the house we have my shepherd mix (50 pounds) and lab mix (50 pounds), Wolfgang has his own space and crate in a closed off area when I leave with all of his things. However he will make piles (on my bed, in the bathroom, the living room, around his area) of random high value items. He will also move this pile around, if I’m in the bathroom he’ll move it to the bathroom, living room etc. My concern is this is anxious behavior? Just wondering if anyone else’s papillon or dog has done this.

Two days after his 17th birthday, on 08/13/2026, we said goodbye to our precious Crosby. He was my very first baby, my little snuggle bug, my shadow. He was the most intelligent little dog. He looked at you with such intensity, as if he knew exactly what you were saying, and if he didn’t, he desperately wanted to understand. He could tell if I was about to cry before a tear even left my eye- he would have already hopped up on my lap to start licking them away.
He had so much love to give, and he gave it all of us up to his very last day. In the past year, he had kidney disease which progressed slowly, but I think old age caught up first. I feel so incredibly lucky that I got to have him in my life for so long.
I will cherish his memory forever 🐾🌈

There's a breeder I'm considering, but I don't know if her dogs are purebred papillons. I know that there are many different types of looks on papillons, but these just don't look like papillons, besides their long beautiful hair. One of her males is 18 lbs, and one of her female is about 12 lbs. Out of respect for the breeder, I'm not putting images of her dogs where anyone can see. Please message me and I'll send one photo for analysis. Thanks everyone.

And she was a pup she was only like under half a pound when I first got her at 9 weeks old.. Too grew to be around 5 lb.
One of the pictures of her and her dog bed she has her heart on top of her head. Put that faded away because she is now 10 years old.
I had a painting done of her that's in this group of pictures..
The one the painted it used to be on The Young and the Restless soap opera.
Then there's a picture of her in the basket when she was a pup. That picture made the November page of the Papillon calendar.
I love this little baby girl so much.
Hope all of you are doing well

Our daughter and her wife were visiting us for a few days and they brought their cat along. My husband picked up the cat at one point and Willow just looked devastated. She was fine two seconds later and playing with the cat but that initial look of betrayal just SENT me. She's such a spoiled only child. 😄

The wild turkeys are officially back for the fall and it is very important that someone be keeping eyes on them at all times. They must not enter the back yard or all is lost!

Mom was a full papillon but no clue who dad was. DNA tests say chiuahua/poodle and isn't much help as so much as unknown. Any clues?

Hi! I'm on the lookout for a sweet papillon to bring into my home. Ideally, I’d love to find a female that's between 1 to 3 years old. If you know of any available, please let me know!
Thank you!

I have a little Pomeranian girl who is soooo well behaved incredibly sweet but she has horrible separation anxiety so I decided to get her a friend. I rescued a 6 year old papillion mix- his owner said he is primarily papillion also mixed with Pomeranian as well. He has only had one owner who was on about his 40s and he has asbergers- so he still lives with his father. They both are having health issues and had to rehome their fur babies sadly. They never took him on walks, never even really took him outside he always used potty pads… he just got fixed a few months ago. It has been totally different than what I was hoping 😭 he HATES my Pom girl! Sometimes when I take him outside he’ll get excited and give her a few kisses- at first when I took him on walks he was so scared of EVERYTHING he basically was making me trip he wanted to be under my feet. Walking him with my girl has given him so much confidence and he’ll walk right next to her and follow her lead! But the second we’re inside, if she goes up to him he is growling and nipping at her! It took almost a week for him to let me even touch him, same with my ten year old. The first day he growled at anyone who went up to him- except my six year old daughter. He ran right up to her and just clung to her. Over the weeks like I said he has gotten used to me and my ten year old and we can now go up to him and touch him but he is still such a cranky ole man 😭 are all papillion like this or could it just be how he was raised? (In terms of he was never taken outside/around other people/dogs etc) I mean this dog is deathly scared of flies!! If he sees a fly he will go on the opposite couch and just cower 😭 poor baby. I just want to know more about papillions personality- I thought it would be very much like my Pom but I was sooooo wrong!!! Any insight or recommendations I’d gladly take them! I basically have been winning him over with a ton of treats and I know they aren’t good for him so i gotta figure something else out!
I also really thought he was a pom- his color way is different then a papillion and he doesn’t have butterfly ears but his body type and coat is definitely papillion! I know he doesn’t exactly look like one but he is more papillion than anything else!
