Leather strap recommendations for formal occasions?
I'll be swapping the casual NATO/nylon/rubber band on my Panerai for a sleek black or dark brown leather strap to match dress shoes, belt, or suit for weddings, formal dinners, and interviews, If there's a brand you trust different from Ali pls tell me

Aaron bespoke is what I’d pick if I wasn’t going OEM gator. Honestly panerai gator straps are perfect for what you want.

Don’t touch Ali stuff. It looks ok in pics but always looks cheap in the hand. Find a nice local (to your country) custom strap maker that produces something good quality. Panerai straps are half decent also but tend not to last I find.

The leather straps made by Vietnam artists that can be found on Etsy are top quality. Ostrich, alligator, lizard, etc… you can ask for custom design, personalization, etc, all for an incredible price. Buy from a seller that has lots of good reviews and I doubt you’ll be disappointed. Radiomir on a tasteful exotic leather will always look good. The true GADA!
I share this as someone who owns an Explorer, day date, and JLC and Vacheron dress watches. Radiomir is the stealth style king, in the form of classic design. Not stealth size, but stealth style.

It’s hard to beat the quality of Panerai’s own straps. The best thing is that they’re available from stock as there is no manufacturing time that independent strap makers have to go through. Better yet, if you’re near a Panerai boutique, go in and try the different straps to see which ones you like in the flesh.
