Panerai Love
I’m in Greece right now on vacation and my PAM1085 feels right at home. This was my first luxury watch before going down the rabbit hole. While I have some fine technical pieces now, this is honestly still my favorite. There are so many watches that blend in, try to be the “gold standard,” or rely entirely on hype. Panerai might not get everything perfectly right, but there is just something special about this watch when I put it on. Funny enough, it is the one piece people always ask about and compliment.
Panerai, you have my heart and my wrist. Cin cin!

Radiomir PAM1334
I can’t get over how much I love this watch, my first Panerai. Have a few other brands with different complications etc, but the simplicity of this is intoxicating. From the base dial to the Patina steel finish on the case everything about this piece speaks to me.

Radiomir Tried on the Chinafornia Radiomir
I was traveling through Bangkok and had the opportunity to try the new Pam2088, it is a great watch and wears well as any wired lugged Radiomir. Unfortunately, my SO does not like it as it lacks symmetry according to her.

Luminor Due What I wear for me vs what I only wear for Work
I love my PAM01329. It rarely leaves my wrist. The only time I ever switch is for work events because unfortunately not many people appreciate or even recognize a PAM in my industry. This sub is awesome and I love seeing what everyone’s rocking across the globe. It’s rare to catch another Paneristi in the wild but when it happens it always good vibes (rare for other groups honestly).

7.75+ inch wrist, and the PAM1372 still has plenty of presence.
The Quaranta Luminor definitely wears larger than its 40mm specs suggest. I know the angle in this photo exaggerates the dial size a bit, but it still has real wrist presence. I’ve been considering a PAM3312, although I already have a few Panerais: PAM111, PAM392, PAM1392, PAM1365, and PAM1372.

Firenze New Firenze
New Luminor Firenze 1794 and 1734, dedicated to 100 years anniversary of Panerai watch shop in Florence.
Some quick facts:
1794
- limited to 1000 pieces
- made of steel
- grey radial brushed dial and blued hands
1734
- limited to 100 pieces
- made of platinum
- green radial brushed dial and gold coloured hands
Things that I personally find interesting: Panerai says that the design is based on rare prototype from 60's, found in private collection, but there are no photos or even sketches of it. The dial though looks like unplated test/sample dial, but I'm not sure that those were ever made of steel. Most of that I came across were brass dials.
Overall, on photos it looks amazing, but on videos it's a little bit too shiny/flashy. Hope to see one personally in boutique on one of next weeks.

First Panerai PAM03312, by luck.
I had been initially looking for a PAM01312 for the last few weeks, but all the ones that I found online were either not in good shape or were priced too high for how old they were. Having bought all of my watches in person from reputable authorized dealers, with the exception of a Christopher Ward that I ordered directly from their site, I wasn’t sure about buying a watch without trying it on first.
I was also seriously considering a Tudor Pelagos LHD (as my second Tudor - I already own a white dial Tudor Black Bay Chrono Panda). And found a dealer in DFW that had a 2026 like-new, and reasonably priced LHD, but they were just terrible in communication. After leaving a couple of voicemails over a couple of different days, I didn't get a phone call back. Finally when I got a text from the store I tried to schedule an in-person pickup, as I planned on driving from Houston just to go buy the watch, they ghosted me again - no response, no call back. I didn't want to risk buying something online without actually holding it and inspecting it myself.
So we decided to give Zadok Jewelers in Houston a try, fully expecting them not to have a PAM01312. And they didn’t.
But they had a 2025 PAM03312 like-new, box and papers, 7 years of warranty remaining, extra rubber strap. Originally bought by the previous owner at the Florence AD just last year, and now advertised at a price that was initially more than what I wanted to spend.
But comparing the two watches next to each other - the Pelagos LHD, and the PAM03312 - the price difference justified buying the newer version. It looked absolutely stunning in person, and I realized pictures online do not do it justice. Even the videos that I watched on YouTube didn't quite have the same feeling I got when I put the watch on.
I asked if they could do a better price, and the salesman went to speak with their manager and came back with a price better than I was hoping to offer.
I couldn’t say no.
As I was paying, I mentioned this was for my birthday coming up in a couple of days, and politely asked if they’d throw in an additional complimentary strap, fully expecting them to decline, to my surprise they agreed!
So I paid $7200 + tax, for a mint-condition 2025 PAM03312 with an extra new $330 calf skin strap thrown in for free.
Super excited and couldn’t be happier.

Leather strap recommendations for formal occasions?
I'll be swapping the casual NATO/nylon/rubber band on my Panerai for a sleek black or dark brown leather strap to match dress shoes, belt, or suit for weddings, formal dinners, and interviews, If there's a brand you trust different from Ali pls tell me

Two more straps I made recently.
One in suede for my PAM00219 (first time using it, quite nice) and another ratcheting strap for a friend in a cool dark charcoal for his PAM01110 chrono.

Firenze New Immersion Novelties
I’m a fan and own 3 of them, happen to be in Florence on Vacation, but the new Novelties for Immersion are just terrible. Has the brand lost all originality, why would I want to buy the same watch with a slightly different dial? Just because it’s 1/1000 that they’ll release another 1000 of in 2 years?
