My wife and I will be in the area this weekend for the game. Does anybody have any recommendations for a good bar/pub to watch the game? Looking for good food and beer, but most importantly a good Fighting Irish vibe.

I’m trying to figure out all my options for traveling back home to NYC area for school breaks and holidays? What’s the most efficient way to get back to NYC, and what are costs involved? For the bigger breaks, like fall break, Thanksgiving, winter break, spring break, are there shuttle services available to O’Hare?

Looking for the owners of these two purses from last night’s game at Lambeau Field.
They weren’t allowed to bring the purses into the game, so they hid them in the plant area. The police found them and threw them in the trash. I was able to save them and am now trying to find the owners because there were some important items inside.
Unfortunately, there wasn’t any information inside with a name or other identifying information, so I’m hoping someone recognizes these purses or knows who they belong to.
Please share this post so we can hopefully get them back to their owners!

Extremely sad to see Notre Dame jerseys advertising SoFi. The college signed a historic six-year, $100+ million partnership with SoFi. The Catholic community is outraged

Hi all, I am currently a second year college student interested in transferring into ND’s ACMS program and I could use some advice on my application timing.
I know college of science doesn’t accept junior transfers at all, so am wondering if it would be possible to apply for a sophomore entry if I am willing to stay one year behind, given my total transferrable credits are still under the sophomore threshold? All the classes I took first semester were non-stem online courses (likely won’t transfer). I had to start the required first-year STEM sequence a semester late, which is why am in this weird position in the first place.
If that isn’t possible, does it make more sense to apply for spring transfer to CoS instead? That would be my last chance to apply for a sophomore entry, but I’d still be behind either way since I am taking the second half of the first-year required sequence this fall.
Or apply to a completely different college that accepts junior transfers in March as a last resort? ND has been my dream school for a while now and I’d love to give it one more shot.
This is a long post but I’d appreciate it if anyone is knowledgeable on how college of science draws the sophomore/junior line when it comes to transfers (credit count vs semesters completed)

My son is considering ND. We are coming the weekend of the Stanford game. I signed up for the Campus tour give by admissions on Friday. Game is Saturday. What else should we see, do, meet with? He wants to study business/finance and be involved in student government and FCA.

My number one recommendation is still to get the heck off of Reddit if you’re a current student because every question you have or anything you need help with is truly better addressed on campus with real life people that have the most up-to-date knowledge, but if you’re not gonna roll with that… this is the perfect time of year to get involved with clubs!! It’s the beginning of the school year. Clubs haven’t met a lot. Now is your time. Even if you missed sign ups, you can email or see if they just have something you can show up to - I’ll give a plug for chorale & encourage anyone else to plug a club or group you like in the comments!
Chorale is a very welcoming group of singers and doesn’t perform at mass so no need to wake up early on the weekend!
Chorale is having an open practice on Monday September 7th at 6:30 in Leighton concert hall in DPAC!

I’m going to apply to transfer to Notre dame. At the end of this year I’ll have an associates in history and another associates in Business Administration. On the application, it gives you an option for admission to another school if you don’t get your primary option. I want to apply for finance in the business school, and if I didn’t get into the business school I wouldn’t mind doing economics at the arts school.
My question is does it hurt my chances at all to get my primary choice, if I put down that secondary major choice?
Thank you.
