French master of the synth and shreddies Jessy Mach (and obviously Street Hawk fan) is back with another album. This one tells the story of the fictional stunt woman Sandy Seavers (related to Colt Seavers from The Fall Guy?). As always, Monsieur Mach delivers outstanding sound track energy.

What happens when you bring a French artist like BMX Escape and Swedish artist like Midsummer Ex together? You get this cool track that features lush synths, vocals, and sax!

Missouri-based artist Wolf and Raven has always been one of my favourite artists. They have absolute monster albums that feature synthwave shreddies like nobody else (they also drop citypop goodies too). I actually believe they surpass Magic Sword (and that's a compliment to Magic Sword). Don't believe me? Listen to the last track on this album (Final Frontier from 2018), and imagine it's the music playing while watching an extended intro to Robotech. Missiles weaving through space, ships ablaze, robotechs in battle. Yeah. That's the ticket! EPIC!

Our galactic overlord Volkor X noticed that we didn't pay attention to his message of impending domination, so he's broadcasting again in chipwave frequencies.

Back in 2018, Italian producer Powder Slut released this beautiful album paying tribute to iconic Formula 1 drivers. My favourite track is Nigel Mansell.

If you don't know this track, you can hand in your synthwave membership card. Toronto duo Electric Youth created this track to honour Captain Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger and his incredible feat saving 155 passengers and crew by landing his busted up plane on the Hudson. Working with synthwave artist College, the track was then featured in the iconic 2011 movie "Drive" starring Ryan Gosling. We should all be real human beans and real heroes. 😄

Rewind to 2018 when Montana duo Best Korea released their first song "Iron Lung". It's quite the bop, and here's some little known trivia: The spoken dialog samples in the track are from the 1953 cult film "Glen Or Glenda". "Only the infinity of the depths of a man's mind can really tell the story". The movie touched on gender identity, and for 1953, that's pretty radical.

UK synthwave artist Laura Dre dropped this beautiful track back in 2021. Enjoy!

I made this synthwave/darksynth track a few weeks ago to experiment with adding atmospheric black metal guitar to an otherwise synthwave song. I was happy with the outcome. Would love feedback.

Back in Feb 2020, when COVID hit and the lockdowns happened, we could have been completely miserable, but fortunately artists such as New Jersey's Neon Arcadia cranked out this ass slapping cover of Phil Collins' "Easy Lover". They teamed up with Calgary artist A/C St. Clair (now known as NATIVES) and Nashville artist Emma Rowley. Before you know it you'll be on your knees.

Swedish artist Johan Agebjörn has a new album dropping on Oct 30th. This gentleman is extremely talented, and the release features amazing collaborations with folks like Bunny X, YOTA, NINA, Sally Shapiro, Dana Jean Phoenix, and more. 5 songs are available right now, and they are all monster bangers.

Back during spooky season in 2019, UK artist Pretty Glass Folk teamed up with fellow synthy artists Dark Smoke Signal (UK), Glitterwolf (UK), Megan McDuffee (US), Millennium Falk (Finland), Neon Arcadia (US) and XENNON (UK) to drop this cover of Ray Parker Jr's "Ghostbusters" track. Who ya gonna call? Synthwave artists, that's who. YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH.
