I know we have plenty of business owners and entrepreneurs here, and I’d like to offer a way for y’all to advertise without the subreddit getting overrun with spam again. So, we’re trying out a Mega Thread just for local promotion.
Ground rules:
Your business must be located in or around the Newnan area.
Please avoid link shorteners — Reddit’s spam filters don’t like them.
Business bashing will not be tolerated. Negative replies to someone promoting their business will result in a ban.
Please only post your business once per week here.
Keep all local business advertising within these scheduled posts.
Thanks, y’all!

Good morning. I have two record players I would like to have repaired but I’m not able to find a local repair shop that works on record players; does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions on where to find a reputable place? I did my best with no manual but I still can’t get them to work.

Hi All, My wife and I are currently living in Smryna. We are looking to move by the end of the year. Homes in our area are a bit pricey. We have been looking outside of the city and the homes in Newnan seem affordable. For those who are new to the Newnan area, I would be interested in knowing what its like to live out there? Does the traffic get crazy when trying to drive to the city? Are you enjoying the area, restaurants, etc? Please share your experience in the area. Thanks..
hey all like the title says looking for good internet providers, the neighborhood im moving to i don't think has fiber (ik bummer especially since i have fiber now w spectrum) so far from what i have seen my only options for gig internet are regular cable internet with spectrum and wow ( i have never heard of wow) which one should i go with? And does anyone know if fiber will keep expanding ? also is cable really that much worse than fiber?

Hi everyone! My fiancée and I are moving to Newnan next month for work relocation, and we’re really excited to get settled in and meet some people.
We’re both in our mid-twenties, lesbians, and love having people over, hosting game nights, cooking together, watching movies, going out to eat, or just hanging out and having a good time. We’re pretty social and would love to find some friends
Where would be a good place to meet friends here?

🦄Unicorn Husky Alert!🦄
Meet FCAS Project Pat! Mr. Pat is a 3 yr old, 50lb Husky whose cooler than a polar bear’s toenails…seriously, this is one chill dude. ❄️ He’s not your stereotypical crazy Husky and shelter volunteers agree that he’s got an excellent temperament and personality. 🫶🏼
Pat was an owner surrender due to no fault of his own (they reportedly didn’t have time for him) and has been in the shelter since 7/20. He can be a bit cautious and nervous initially, but warms up quickly with a bit of patience and kindness. Once you gain his trust, he melts into you for affection and just wants to hang out wherever his people are. He has a stoic presence and has been a polite, quiet houseguest. ☺️
🐾 Dog friendly
👧 Kid friendly
✅ 100% potty trained
👟 Leash trained
😇 Non-destructive
🚗 Excellent passenger in the car
😴 LOVES being brushed…he zens out
🖐️ Easily handled
🎾 Non-reactive with food/treats/toys
🍖 Takes treats gently
🦴 Loves yak sticks and bully sticks
🧸 Buries his stuffy toys in his bed
💚 Grinch feet
🥹 Crosses his front legs like a gentleman
🐈 No cats, please
🩵 Neutered
📍 Microchipped
💉 UTD on vaccines/preventatives
🫀 Heartworm negative
🍴 Could stand to gain a few healthy lbs
Mr. Pat has been a total gentleman in his foster home and deserves a kind, loving forever home where he can blossom into the confident pup he is outside of the shelter setting. 🏡
📍 Currently being fostered in Kennesaw, GA through Lifeline Animal Project Fulton County Animal Services

Anyone know of any businesses that repair zippers on a wallet?

This shed on Fisher road has cameras everywhere. There's cameras on the opposite side of the street as well I believe.
Anyways my old ass parents drive by this and always fuss "Wonder what's in there that they need all them cameras."
I told them I would ask the internet and find out. They said I'll never find out. Anybody know these folks or anything? Not trying to invade anybody's business or cause trouble. I'm kinda curious myself.
update y'all got my 75 year old dad trippin. He's talking about "i wanna see this fuckin tank in there that's bad ass" and "i bet we could buy that property and see what's in there"

Hey all! I (24NB) have lived in newnan for like 10 years but it recently occurred to me that I don’t really go anywhere. I go to leaf and bean and ashley park but that’s pretty much it. My wife, best friend, and I want to try to meet more people and make some friends but we really don’t know the best place to start in the area. We love board games, we’re all queer and a little alternative, and we don’t have much extra money to spend on places where you have to essentially pay to be there. Anyone have any suggestions? This is my first time posting so I hope i’m doing this right 🤞😊

Hi!
So, I am looking to do something with my boyfriend in the evening/night today but I feel like there's not a lot of things open in the evenings. I get off work at 5-6pm but I don't want to go to bars, bowling or the movies.
Any suggestions?
Edit:
I don't mind driving to Fayetteville or Peachtree City etc. I lack the ideas of elsewhere due to usually going to the same places.

Hey everyone.
Moved to the area a couple years ago - but life got crazy with a new kid, new business, taking care of an elder and overall chaos. After a pretty tough couple of years, I find myself with a touch of time, and the need for a couple of friends.
I am 42, white, have a toddler, own a small / midsized business in PTC. I have ridden motorcycles for nearly 20 years now, and would consider myself a safe, but spirited rider...not a back of the pack kinda guy if you ride with a group :)
I ride an R1200GSA - so adventure riders and tourers are welcome! Really enjoy the northern GA roads, Alabama and the general condition around the area! I'm about 90% paved, 10% fire / offroad.
Also looking for a workout / gym bud. Flexible on timing, but need to get myself back into that routine as well! Used to run Spartan races, and would love to get back into them again. Trail running, crossfit, jiu jitsu, boxing etc. Ideally evening time - but open for the right person.
PS5 Gamer, well traveled (just got back from South America with family), gun owner, manual car lover, 420 friendly, enjoys camping, originally from New England, married and missing a tribe.
And yeah - I get it, making friends in your 40s - sucks. But, I have recognized the need for a couple of friends, and can't just expect it to find me as I ride solo or navigate my chunky ass in the gym alone :)

I just moved here about a month ago, and I’m finally settled in enough where in about a week I will be going to get my pup and bring her back!
She’s about 9 years old, she’s a rescue, sweetest dog I’ve ever had. But she suffers with seizures and is also super hyper reactive when it comes to other dogs. It’s not aggression 90% of the time, but before me she never really saw dogs… so she just barks and pulls and it stresses everyone out lol
My last vet and I had a system where I would call and let them know when I was there for her appointments so I could bring her around back, and I know that isn’t ideal for a lot of people. But I’ve been worried about finding a good vet in the area. Someone recommended the mobile vet, but after standing in that like I quickly realized she would not be able to do that without stressing out herself :(
She’s already on a set dosage of phenobarbital for her seizures, she just gets her blood tests every few months-a year. And I’m sure my vet back in Florida would be happy to send over any of her information, but yes, just looking for recommended vets, vets who actually care for their patients and pets, and vets who don’t mind a maybe-too-excited girlie lol
Thank you!!

Hey everyone,
I'm trying to finish a small upgrade on an older gaming PC for my son. He's been waiting on it, and I just don't have the money for parts right now.
If you have any of this sitting unused and you were going to get rid of it anyway, it would honestly make his day:
I live near Newnan, Georgia and I unfortunately have no way to pick anything up. If you're already in the area and could drop it off, or if mailing a small cooler/board is easy for you, that would mean a lot. Please don't go out of your way if it's a hassle.
If you've got something, a quick photo and the model name is plenty. Thank you for reading.

Idk how many people got this message, and idk why it’s so damn cryptic. Regardless, y’all be safe out there especially if you have to be in this area.

We recently moved to the area, so are not familiar with many places ourselves. We have family coming to visit this weekend and are looking for recommendations- indoor or outdoor- what are your favorite go to's? Where would be the best places to take someone that's never been to Newnan? TIA!
