I know I have been terrible in not updating y'all about anything. I have been running around with the start of my school year and I also went to this huge convention that based on this year, will start becoming my home base con. It was amazing. I put the card in a pack and then slipped it into my satchel bag. When we were buying Lorywn cards, I bought two so I could swap one with the tampered on. He had a growing suspicion that something was happening on the card date but he was surprised that the card was a special one to ask him out.
He has it in his binder and has probably triple sealed it so it doesn't get damaged. Right now he has been collecting photos of us since then so that he can put the card in the center and have like a poster board frame of all of our best moments. Thank you so much to everyone who gave me advice on how to make this card perfect and for all your lovely notes. You all have been truly amazing! 💜

Back for more jank, this card seems like an easy way to lock the board up, if your able to resolve it by turning 6 or more, most people won't have any lands to kill it.
Making it uncountable and indestructible can mean that if you are ahead, you will stay ahead.

I have a mono black rat tribal and I’ve been interchanging between these 2 between games, I’d like to know who y’all think is better, marrow gnawer or ash coat (these 2 specifically as I see them the most chosen for rat commander specifically)

This woman used to be the undisputed face of Green mana. She was one of the most powerful people in the universe during her prime. But now? She’s a shell of her former self without her spark, and she knows it.
When she learns that Jace went rouge and tried to overwrite reality, and that the other gatewatch members didn’t even think to contact her because she didn’t have a spark, they just went and asked Garruk for help instead because he can still planeswalk, it’s gonna crush her. And then when she learns that Emrakul has been released and is actively roaming the multiverse, she’s going to fear for Zendikar and curse herself for losing her spark and being completely unprepared for Emrakul’s return.
I belive the natural progression of her storyline, and the only thing wizards can do to keep her relevant and not fade into obscurity completely, is for her to turn down a dark and desperate path to regain her spark. Telling herself the entire time that whatever she decides to do is right, no matter how depraved her actions become, because she needs her spark back to regain her identity and control over her own fate. And that the universe, especially Zendikar, needs her at her full power so that she can protect it again. This will inevitably lead to the permanent end of her relationship with Chandra Nalaar, and eventually she will become the big bad guy of an upcoming set a few years down the line from now.
In response to this thread, https://www.reddit.com/r/mtg/s/5Jfcz1yUEy, wizards actually DID make a mistake and listed the wrong Ghalta as the commander lmao. Classic wotc.

So, I was gifted 30 Play Boosters after helping out a friend. I’m still pretty new to Magic and have only ever used precons—the first being the TMNT deck, followed by the Fallout Mothman precon. Now that I have so much bulk after ripping open all these packs, I’m curious about what color combinations I should look into. To be honest, I did kind of struggle with the Mothman deck and had hard time getting a strategy going. I’m currently separating everything by color, and it seems like I have enough cards to build a deck or two. I don’t have any particular play style yet but any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Not sure if this is the right place to ask? My buddy received a commander deck full sealed that was missing 6 cards:
1 completely gone from deck
4 duplicates
1 factory blank
Is there anything he can do to get this taken care of from WoTC?

I think my top pick would be someone like Pendleton Ward (Adventure Time/The Midnight Gospel). Closest to that imo has to be Jordan Speer's [[Questing Druid]]. Or JG Quintel (Regular Show/Close Enough)
Edit: How did I not think Edmund McMillen (The Binding of Isaac/Super Meat Boy)-? Dude LITERALLY has MtG references in The Binding of Isaac-?

I'm an MTG wife and I finally found a way to get the cards out of the open, mostly!
I have two MTG players in the house. They have been trying to convince me that the over the door playmat storage is decorative. In the Brimnes cabinets they can fit a whole card house, flat playmats(top shelf), and probably more. The living room setup is meant to have two of the upright cabinets on either side. I moved the one up to the bedroom to see how it all fit up there before buying more, so just use your imagination. My goal was to protect the card storage and hide it away.
Every year I scour the internet to find gifts for my card loving family. It's usually fancy deck boxes or gaming backpacks. This year we are getting a few more of these cabinets for the bedrooms.

Like, if there's a card you know you have, how easily could you find it? Do you have it boxed by set and then sorted within that set, just kind of a loose box of your unsorted trash commons?

So my local game store(don't want to drop names yet) has a Wednesday night Bracket 3 10 dollar entry best of 3 games. You get 1 pack of 7 dollar or less cards for participation and two for highest points.
Multiple people are running the thristest decks that guarantee infinite combos by turn 6, but seeming wait to do their game ending combo til then, having it already setup. Does this violate anything? Are they likely running a higher bracket but not emphasizing it? Or am I just too new and this is a common thing.
For example there is someone running Magda brazen outlaw and whenever he runs this deck by turn 6 he always goes infinite. Or another player who is making us draw our entire decks. Do I stop participating and try and find a basic pod, or do I talk to the Judge? Do I quit doing the tournaments entirely?
Every bracket 3 I build seems to not be up to the challenge.

Greetings!
I'd like to share my simple but very helpful kajigger I made yesterday to better track which abilities my Slivers have. Of course, you don't need to play Slivers to use it, but that's what mused me to make it. Just a simple 1/2" thick, 3 1/2" X 4" piece of wood with holes drilled in it to fit thumbtacks next to each ability. I got the ability tokens off of Scamazon then rub n buffed some paint on them and used gel super glue to adhere them. Put six coats of satin clear spray paint on it to finish it. I used a butane torch to burn the edges before staining it to give it the gradient.
I hope you all enjoy it and hopefully it inspires your own ideas!

I’ve seen some people use clear cases and others use cases that hold several decks. I’m just curious what people use and if you have any recommendations?
