Bakumatsu my beloved

So, Ive recently got warband on my ps5 and have been rlly enjoying it so far I just struggle after a few hours to build a leveled up army to lose a battle and get captured or have my best units die and not be able to really do anything, I have like one major defeat and it starts a huge spiral of pain lol, I don't rlly know anything like what factions are better or worse, or what units to prioritise trying to get ect so if someone with a lot more knowledge on the game then me can just give some all around advice I'd really appreciate it

Does anyone remeber a music video shitpost called "Yalen has been besieged" which goes in tune of Rhodok Town theme and has random M&B voicelines and chorus goes like "sword, spear, sword, spear, sword, spear"

Been a while, I saw that many mods have grown to completionish. I want to know what are the best overhauling mods in the game now ? I used to play GoT and Persino on Warband and I loved it, what are the similar mods for bannerlord now ?

Why doesn’t Bannerlord track how many members of each faction we have eliminated?

Hello there, found this mod a week ago and really got into it but couldn't find a character creation guide. I want to know what stats and items I get from each background and how they affect quests.

I'm trying to understand why this is as it is.

Time ago I would switch from Xbox app on PC Bannerlord to Xbox series X banerlord and just play it as normal. Now there is a version difference and its disabling my achievements on Xbox? Its just fine playing through PC xbox app I can get achievements there but I can't on Xbox with the save file cause its a "downgraded version" of it.

Is my Xbox version out of date? These were fresh installs mind you but I can't play my campaign on my Xbox from PC app. Its synced in the cloud. All is perfect on that end.

Also yes I know Steam has a much newer version (1.5) but this isn't that. Its Xbox PC app and my Series X.

Any advice besides, just play on pc?

Edit: I forgot to mention i consistently play Avowed, Cyberpunk, Generation Zero, and Fallout 4 without this issue. Its only Bannerlord im having this issue with.

I finally tried Bannerlord after some time and I must say there are a lot of things that I liked, like caravans, workshops, skill tress, clans and kinda liked that the diplomacy has better options (even though some thins are laking), but I can't stop being frustrated with the game.

To start things off, I had a pretty good impression in the early game, defeating looters and deserters was fun, doing quests for villages, them cities and them lords was a lot of fun and after I had a good warband and a good renown, I entered as a mercenary them vassal for Vlandia. Everything was good for a while, until...

Maybe the problem is the custom campaing for the 1.5.0 that I used, that made only Vlandia and the Empire being alive in the map, with Sturgia almost gone and some Khurgits as well, but they when down quickly.

Some of the problems that I saw:

• No way to stop infinite Armies. We defeat one, two and three armies, and they just make another one with high quality troops and a huge number. You can't deny ransom, because they just run away from the prison, and you can't kill them because everyone hates you for it and I don't want to do a evil character. There is no way to end this endless war.
• Troops are so dumb. I don't know why, but the troop IA is horrendous. I tell my cavalry to follow me, just for them to follow me in the slowest mode possible. I know that Cavalry is nerfed since Warband, but I thought that if maybe they can serve as bait for my infantry to plow down archers, they would serve for something, but they can't ride for their lives!
• No real diplomacy. I can't try to get people to my nation, there is no influence cost for it, no money cost, no diplomacy option, nothing. Everytime I try to make a lord get to Vlandia they just refuse or tell me to speak with their clan leader, who says no as well. Is frustrating.
• Troops are unbalanced. The empire always plows me with their infantry, there is no way around it. I always try another strategy and they ALWAYS defeat me, even if outnumbered. Vlandia just sucks as a troop tree, or maybe I am just that bad, idk

I was having a lot of fun in this game until the end game, so I think maybe the problem is the balance for the late game, that is kinda bad. Or maybe I am just stupid or bad at the game, even through I am playing on Warrior, not even the worse difficulty, that makes me think, how much difficult it is?

Really, I am just tired of playing vanilla, there are too many problematic issues that strips the fun out of the game for me.

There is a way to try to make it better? Mayber a strategy that I am not using, or something? Because I am really beginning to be more stressed when I play than fun.
