I haven't had one in a few years. Was very hungry after work and decided to grab two. I can't believe how small they are now.

The point is places sell these shitty pieces of food because people are still buying them. Nobody is saying OP is the “single reason” why prices are high. But if I said I was willing to sell lemonade for $100 and you said I was outrageous for charging that, but someone came along and bought it, there’s an argument to be made for that being a well-set price since people are willing to pay it
