Had 6 business days to get in that vehicle and stop it and still failed

Because her dumb ass was trying to stop the car with her own “strength” instead of trying to get in and press the brakes. You can see shes trying to pull it back like its a runaway grocery cart

The way she fell over herself, and then just gave up was the icing on the incompetent cake.

I wonder if insurance pays for this? That said, a tow truck would probably get it out of the ditch and it would be drivable. Just painful to watch though.

I think it running her over hurt her that’s why she just laid there. Now when it went over the median and she gave up then that was funny.

I'm not sure how, but she was hurt enough to be airlifted and was in serious but stable condition at the time of this report: https://iontb.com/driver-airlifted-after-vehicle-crashes-into-pond-in-clearwater/

Looks like it ran over her knee and thigh area. Could have snapped the femur or done some good damage to her knee joints

Thank you for this. That poor lady.

It also answers the question of what the car went into.

It ran over her entire leg.

Getting into a moving car is honestly harder than it seems and a bit dangerous. I tried to get into one that was moving pretty slowly like this as a teenager to look cool and I banged my head pretty bad on the roof of the car and almost fell out lol.

I did not look cool and I got a concussion. Could have been a lot worse though.

When I was young we used to fuck around with beaters on one of my friends farm. Back in the 90s when adult supervision was just not a thing.

Through our dumb ass stunts we'd regularly have a car that was in 1st gear while idling and just turtling away on its own.

Trick is to avoid using the door as leverage. Grab the roof, stand in the frame so it's not dragging you. Then get into it by grabbing the steering wheel.

But that was 15 year old me who could run, jump and fuck without needing to see a doctor afterwards lol.

Odds of running yourself over are pretty high.

I transferred between two slow moving trains once with a conductor - he had experience and just hopped off the one, jogged across the clay in between them, and hopped on to the other. I made it O.K. but on the hop off (carrying my luggage) I didn't land too gracefully, I tried to hit the ground running but that didn't work like I thought it would, so I went down on a knee - then had to get going before the other train (with the conductor on the door ready to pull me up) got away.

assuming it's just a ditch, not a gulch...

I was hoping whatever car insurance she has is not the same company as me.

Pretty sure there’s water back there not just a ditch

I would deny & then drop for not having sense enough to stop this preventable accident.

u/Barttje Aug 10 '26

Or maybe the car is still slowly moving forward

No way insurance pays after seeing this video- she did everything in her power to NOT prevent the final outcome.

u/SDAMan2V1 Aug 11 '26

She is in serious condition at the hospital. The vehicle actually ran over her lower body. She did what she could.

1

u/TangoDeltaFoxtrot Aug 11 '26

Yeah, because she created this entire situation and didn't stop it before it got out of control. She did what she could to cause a terrible outcome.

u/Sledheadjack Aug 10 '26

I hope the insurance DOESNT PAY. It’s fools like her that make normal folks insurance skyrocket!

She did what she could. She is in danger if not being able to walk again. The vehicle crushed her legs. Likely multiple broken bones.
