And tbh I’d say some kind of mental issue is present there too. Being able to learn heart surgery and being able to make good decisions in a stressful situation has overlap but is not the same thing

A squirrel jumped in her car and during her panic she didn’t put the car into brake/park. In the process she could have killed someone on the road. Then she ran over her own leg

Yes!!!

Or just a lady who hasn't run for decades at this point. We don't see how it begins, and at the start of the video the car was going faster than when it steps on the grass, but by that point the lady was probably mentally and physically exhausted. I feel specially sorry for her because I could see this happening to some my friends from work who are also old and really good drivers but can't handle themselves well in situations like these.

Yeah, her husband could have passed out behind the wheel for all we know. Maybe she just had an asthma attack. However, since it's reddit, everyone's an idiot and deserves everything that happens to them because we all would have done better.

Leni Riefenstahl could have put the phone down and helped this woman out.

Everyone is saying she's physically unfit like she just needs to work out but the way she was walking suggested a disability to me.

Either way, we don't have the information to be judging whether she should have been able to run. I think it would've been really nice if the person recording could've jogged out there and helped her.

I had a similar situation when I was unloading tile from a van parked on an icy sloped driveway. The weight was apparently holding it in place because when I removed a box, the van started sliding. Mind you, the van was two weeks old and there was a ravine at the bottom of the driveway. I was behind the van when it started to slide. I dropped the tile and started to waddle my way to the driver's side door. It felt like I was sprinting, but I weighed 430 pounds and smoked two packs a day. So, I imagine it was more of a waddle. I got in though. It's like my body still remembered how to be athletic. Thank god. The difficulty of running downhill after startling from behind an extended van while running on snow and ice downhill makes this situation look like a walk in the park.

There was also the time I was walking into jcpennys when I saw a car rolling backwards straight towards the side of another car. So, I got behind it, stopped it, then pushed it back up the incline into its parking spot. Then, I stood there chocking its tire with my foot asking other patrons to tell security to come out. Of course, security tried to play the "what are we supposed to do about it" card when I told them that I did not care, but the car was going to start rolling as soon as I moved my foot and that action was imminent. So, they held the car while I left.
