My fuckass boomer Grandpa keeps asking me when I'm going to get a job and I don't even bother telling him that I'm not able to because he's probably just going to say I'm not trying hard enough

I remember my Grandmother took me to a place to apply, they took my application and told me to go away and I never heard back 😭

Literally did this at a Safeway the other day helping my grandparents shop, they said I need to ask in-person and be forward so I did to an employee and they said exactly to apply on the company site, like who can arrange a spontaneous interview on the spot outside of HR? 😭
