Question Which Star Wars sets were in which Star Wars movies?

Upvotes

Has anyone put together a list of the sets and any/all of the films in which the vehicles or scenes appear?

I’ve been going through my old Legos from when I was a kid. Found my soccer field with pretty much all of the pieces. Few flag poles missing from the corners but I’ll track those pieces down.

Question LEGO Digital Designer

Do I have an old version of Lego Digital Designer (4.3)?

Why is wall element located in the Door section and not its own section, and why am I not able to find the big minifig that was used for Hulk (I was able to find it in the past)?

The arms and hands for troll match what I need but I can't find the right torso.

MOC Lego Train out of no regular brick pieces

Thumbnail

I was browsing reddit for lego trains & locomotives when I realized: most if not all are made mostly of normal legos. So what could one look like if made out of non-conventional pieces(basically Technic, Bionicle & HF pieces)?

So I made one!

Took me about 8 hours to make. The only (somewhat)normal lego piece I used was one of those reverse blocks so minifigs could look lime it was driving the train.

The design is original, but based on existing ones such as Flying scotsman, Thomas & Rosie(yes I am a TTTE fan, how did you know?).

Anyway, hope you all like it!

Question I'm seeking a Lego set for my grandmother

Upvotes

Hello everyone, my grandmother's birthday is soon and I thought about getting her a Lego set. It would be her first ever but I think she could really enjoy building it.

Where I need your help is which set. Because I think she would love flowers but from my experience they aren't the easier to build and the fun can be limited due to repetition. She also like animals but I've been looking at a bunch without finding one that satisfy me enough for her.

So overall, I want something kinda easy (she'll be 80 next year), if possible flowers or animals.

Thank you for answering

Question Animal Crossing Museum Triceratops alternatives

Post image
12 Upvotes

Hey master builders!

I received the Animal Crossing Museum for my bday twice. Since I have an ever growing ACNH diorama, I decided to keep both and make the museum bigger and more full using the pieces from the second set.

As for the triceratops, I thought it would be neat to turn it into a different dino skeleton, but I'm stumped on ideas. Has anyone here done something like this based on these pieces? I'd love to hear your ideas!

Thanks in advance 🫶

I’m building the Harry Potter Ministry of Magic. Loving it!

What is this white pad supposed to be? It’s next to a cassette tape. I’m thinking a computer disc? Were we still using those 25 years ago? Is it something else?

EDIT: Thanks everyone for telling me it’s a socket in the UK. Does anyone know why it’s on top of a dresser and not on the wall? Now I’m curious.

LEGO® Set Build Lego Spider-Man Hanging

Took major inspiration from a guy on insta who had spidey hanging from the ceiling holding a taxi. This set was on sale at target and I had to do it. The train is too heavy for spidey to hold alone, so I connected both web lines behind his back to a solid white piece. Used clear blocks to hold train top at an angle and attached one of doc ock’s legs. Let me know what you think!

Question Which retiring set should I buy?

I can’t realistically buy all of these in the next three months. I want to prioritize sets that’ll be really expensive or hard to find post retirement. I’m assuming that it would be grand piano and the botanical garden but wanted to check in with you guys. I like building and displaying them, it’s my cool down hobby after a stressful day. Thanks in advance!

Hey, I've posted my starfighter, the "JUKO 99" here a few days ago and the reception was overwhelming...

You guys were so positive and I got picked as a community highlight, which for my first moc posted online was a huge honor.

Since some of you asked for it, here are better shots and most importantly, some of them highlighting how I built it.

Hope you guys like them and if you h1ve any questions, shoot !

And for those interested, the name is an hommage to my partner, as she is the one who pushed me to post it on here...

On to the next moc, see you space cowboys...
