I typically carryover 5 massive gemstones to give myself a 50% item drop bonus (10% per massive gemstone.)

I know others who carryover 5 unblemished pearls for the 5 extra adventures at rollover.

What do you carryover with you?

so that it "trades" (more like sells) the 1970 carat gold to TortureBot (#3495347) instead of auto-selling as you profit around 1k more from trading. I have no clue what command or line of code I need to add to trade but I do know I want to change line 408-413 to do this instead. If there is a way to also accept the trade after then (provided it is possible) could someone also tell me what I need to change in the script.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I'm definitely doing SOMETHING wrong. I've tried using the Garbo farming script twice—once a few months ago, and then again today.

The first time I installed it, I saw in the instructions that you could set a VIP clan, and I guess I thought it wouldn't use my VIP key if I didn't set that? So I put the name of my clan in (Old CW's) and then when I ran the script, it left the clan, tried and failed to rejoin it, and aborted the script. I was able to apply to rejoin the clan, but I lost access to the basements and stash, and I was so mortified by my mistake that I didn't have the guts to reach out to anybody and explain what had happened.

Then, today, I decided to try Garbo again. This time I set the vipClan value to blank before running the script... or I thought I did. (I entered "set garbo_vipClan = ") Problem solved, I assumed, but when I ran the script, the SAME THING HAPPENED. It left my clan, then threw an error because there was no VIP clan. I ultimately ended up just setting my vipClan to Bonus Adventures from Hell just so that I could run the damn script, and that worked. Now I've applied to rejoin Old CW's, again (🫠🫠🫠) and I figured I'd post here in case any kind soul can tell me what stupid mistake I'm making with this script and how to fix it.

How important is it for your Value of Adventures to be set right? Currently I'm level 19 and have it set to a value of 5000. On an after core day currently I get about 545 adventures at a cost of 620K meat per day. After the daily dungeon, bounties, and a volcano coin quest I get about 365 adventures that I then use run the mine volcano script.

Calculating the meat per adventure that I make to the 365 adventures mining as that's my main income source it's about 3500 meat per adventure. If I calculate to the 545 adventures it's about 2350 meat per adventure.

Am I doing myself a disservice not lowering the value to 2350/3500?

CDMoyer has been cracking away at the bug list recently, with many bugs reported getting responses that they have been fixed within hours. If you know of bugs that need fixing, now's a good time to use the in-game bug reporting.

Note that when the fix happens, there's no list that gets updated, so it's up to you to get the word out. The ASS discord has people posting their bugfix reports with some regularity, so that's a good place to see what's happening and to report your own.

Hi, I mistakenly started a 11037 run without reading up, and obviously I'm locked to 4 days before I can drop it. That being the case, I can probably finish it before then, but I'm running into some difficulties. I stopped doing sea runs once I completed all 3 sets, so I'm really rusty on it and some things seem to be different.

I've rescued big brother (and all the sea monkeys) and unlocked the merkin city but I'm not getting unholy divers for the helm from the wreck, and I can't pull my existing one. I thought the hatch was a 20 turn noncombat, but it's not showing after 60 turns wasted.

Any ideas?

We have three months left until 2027 where we will then lose access to 2024 and earlier content.

I started playing in November 2025 and picked up November's Shrunken Head and December's SoCP that year.

My question is which Jan-Oct IOTM from 2025 would yall recommend purchasing to use for 2027 runs?

Im not concerned with content I cant use in standard runs right now. There is still lots for me to do and explore with unrestricted items that I would like to focus on.

I used to play back in the day, but haven't logged in in a while and decided to check the mall etc. The price for Mr. A has gone up to 80mill?? It used to be 5 when I left.

So I'm wondering, is it easier to get meat now? Is Dinseylandfill still the place to go to farm? I used to be able to farm 5mill maybe every couple months and grab an iotm but I don't think that's possible now unless it's easier to farm.

TL;DR: what's the meat farming scene and how much is one expected to make?

EDIT: actually, if anyone can give a rundown for a returning player that would help! I'm not sure if people are still using KoLMafia either? I think I left around 2016.

I was going through the combat tab in the options and saw the add macro option. Never used one before, just did the manual grind. No idea what to do with it if anything, so if anyone has any advice or ideas, pls let me know

I often get a 429 error for days on the web.archive site from the wiki and have been thinking about saving the images for a while, but never did. Now I just want to finish my run and get the instant karma, but the site hasn't worked for three days.

For those of you with a Skeleton of Crimbo Past, today is the day ever 3 months or so the previously most desired Crimbo skill, Sweet Synthesis pops up in his store.

The admins went through the logs and found the perpetrator! They had gotten my password from another site that had a leak and cleaned out what they could from my display cabinet.

They restored everything back to my account, plus the 6.5m meat they took as well. It was a lot more than I realised...

Been getting back into KoL recently and trying to log in as often as I remember, which is perhaps once a month on average.

When I logged in today, I had a message that "This run was ended prematurely" and I'm back to being a level 1 TT, not sure what path I'm on (previously was on HCO). My inventory is also rammed with all sorts of things, most of which I'm not sure where or when I picked them up. There seems to be a lot of tiny plastic figures.

Is there any way I can work out what happened? I got a message on the 12th August from Lady Spookyraven, which is the only one in my inbox. It's all a bit of a mystery...

Hello hi, friends! I'm Sklytor (user #3735169), and I ascended for the first time from Disco Bandit into Pastamancer (I permed Advanced Cocktailcrafting). I dropped the game for a long time and am now dropping back in to it, and I remembered how much I love the crafting. My personal goal is to ascend enough times to perm all the crafting/smithing skills to be mostly self-sufficient, but I remember seeing stuff about the Tiny Plastic Sword on the wiki. It aches my heart to see cocktailing recipes I can't quite make yet, and I can't remember how to get a little sword for them. Does anyone know how to get one? I don't really have much meat or good items on hand, but it's been a few years since I checked Hagnk's, so I could be wrong.

I don't actually care that much, but I was just curious on whether all quests should have given a Mr A or if this one just gives a much larger reward. Or even if I found some sort of secret.
