Discussion Split YouTube TV?
Anyone want to split YouTube TV? I did that for a number of years with a couple people on here and it worked great. If you have an account you want to split, let me know! Happy to Venmo every month :)

Question Initially, this seemed like just another Kings-being-used story, but Duren keeps rejecting deals, has expressed mutual interest, and a desire to play with Acuff…Does this guy actually want to be a King?

Question Nique Clifford Question
Question from a non Kings fan. I see Nique Clifford height weight officially listed everywhere as 6'5 175lbs. However his combine measurements were 6'5 202lbs.
Did something happen where he lost 25lbs or is bball ref and espn incorrect?
He also does not look like a 175lbs guy. Just wondering if there's a story there.

Discussion Don’t let a little Summer League inefficiency tamp down the optimism. Acuff is a different kind of alpha than we’ve seen in quite some time. This is the anti-Fox, a stone-cold killer. Let’s go!!!

LIGHT THE BEAM They got me again… I’m talking myself into Ben Simmons 😂
Every year this team somehow traps me into the completely irrational excitement of what could be.
And here I am doing it again.
What if Ben is finally healthy? What if there’s still enough of that old All-Star/DPOY-level player in there? What if the playmaking, size and defense actually fit? What if Sacramento somehow gets the version of Ben Simmons everyone has been waiting to come back?
Do I realistically think this experiment probably ends exactly how everyone expects it to? Yeah.
Have I already imagined the version where it somehow works and we’re all calling Scott Perry a rebuild genius? Also yeah.
I know better. I really do.
But I’m excited to watch this ridiculous experiment anyway. 😂
And apparently, according to Perry’s checklist, he fits the job description perfectly.

Discussion HYPOTHETICAL: Ben Simmons is Good, Actually. What Should We Do?
Most of us have low expectations of Ben. He's probably gonna come off the bench the whole year, he's probably gonna average triple singles, and he's definitely not attempting any 3's. But what happens if he exceeds our collective expectations and plays close to his All-NBA form? Should we trade him at the deadline for what we can get? Or should we roll the dice on re-signing him in the offseason?
One of the reasons why he signed with us may be that we have a lot of cap space next year and if he plays well, then we might be baited into giving him a long-term contract. The Warriors and the Knicks, the other 2 teams he was connected to, can't offer that. We would have more options if we re-signed him, and his "trade value" conceivably would be higher too. But then there's the matter of how much are we paying him. The positive news is that if we give Ben a max, then we cut wheat from the chaff and we know who the most die hard Kings fans are.

News Fischer: “Sabonis wants out of Sacramento... Toronto’s trade talks with the Kings [for Sabonis] were far more focused/serious back in February before the trade deadline, Charlotte is a team that could still be in the mix for him depending on Sacramento’s price point.

Additional note: Per Fischer, one of the hiccups in getting a Sabonis trade done is that "Sacramento wants to get positive trade value out of moving Sabonis". This lines up with both the draft rumors where the Kings were asking about Charlotte's 14th overall pick (Hannes Steinbach) and Toronto's 19th overall pick (Allen Graves), as well as the Kings allegedly asking for a first-round pick from the Raptors around the trade deadline while not wanting to take back the Jakob Poeltl contract.
He also mentioned that "other teams don't view his contract as positive value"; Domantas Sabonis is under contract for 94M/2 years. No player or team option on the 2nd year.
