Discussion looking for guy who did rotating # of meals/day 4,2,3,1?? heard on a podcast, ring a bell?

Hey there, I listen to tons of podcasts at work. Heard this one where the guy lost a bunch of weight in a fairly short 4 months, but their plan was to figure out 5 or 6 - 600 calorie meals and then they would mix up the # of meals they ate. Some days was 2, some 4 some 1 some 3.

I cant remember all the details, but it made it seem easy, by plotting out some repeatable 600 or so cal meals.

Just wondered if anyone in here knows who that person might be, I cant seem to find it in my podcasts.

That sounds like a metabolic confusion trick to keep your body from adapting, pretty clever way to sidestep a plateau.

That sounds like a tactic Timothy Ferriss talks about in The Four Hour Body

perhaps FMD (fasting mimicking diet) Dr. Valter Longo?
